Author has written 4 stories for Jem, Harry Potter, Little Mermaid, and Aladdin.
I've found that I love reading fanfiction, as long as it's written well and ideas look like they were carefully thought out. I don't mind what's done with a character, as long as the author can make me believe it, though that can be hard to do for some things. I have little patience for ideas that have been run into the ground, such as bringing a character back from the dead even after it's happened in the fandom in question. Also, I won't read a fanfic unless I'm familiar with its universe, because it's easier to appreciate something if you know what it's all about. Also, crossovers are only good if they make sense. (Unless your purpose is to get a laugh out of the reader. I read a Harry Potter/Smurfs fic that did just that.)
I'm currently working on my first Harry Potter fanfic. Ever since I read the books, I wanted to see what Mozenrath would do at Hogwarts, and since I haven't found any fics out there, I decided to write one of my own. I don't know if Aladdin and Company will make an appearance or not. It depends on where the story goes.
I have other ideas for fanfics as well. I want to write a She-Ra fic, and I also have an idea for an oldskool Aladdin fic. Unfortunately, real life takes precedence, and writing fanfiction is something I do when I have time. But I think I'm willing to swap ideas with other writers out there. I would have to read your work first, though.
