Author has written 8 stories for Dragon Age.
I love writing.
I've been writing off and on for many, many years - mostly fanfic, although I have written the very occasional piece of original fiction as well. Until now, I've never been brave enough to share any of it outside my circle of friends. But now, here I am!
It goes without saying, I hope, but I make no claim to any of the characters or settings I write about (except for those original characters I've created). They belong to others, and I simply borrowed them for a while. I only hope I didn't tarnish them in the process. I will often include in-game or in-show dialogue to tell the story; where I do, I try to keep the dialogue more-or-less intact and if I do change it, it's only to reflect the influence of my original character(s) on said dialogue or on the events of the story, or where a change is necessary to drive the story I want to tell. I write about characters that I love, or that intrigue me, and that feel real to me, so I try to keep as true to those characters as I can. One of the reasons I write fanfic is to try and get inside the heads of the characters, and get to know them better; I'm not trying to change them.
I appreciate any and all feedback, particularly constructive criticism.
I currently have only Dragon Age stories posted. These are:
Blood and Thunder / Truth and Consequences / Second Chances - Surana and Jowan - these three stories form a trilogy of sorts
Roses and Regrets - Surana (but not the same one as in the Jowan stories) along with Alistair and Zevran - one-shot
Duty Bound - Alessa Cousland and Alistair, along with the other usual suspects - a WIP planned to cover the entirety of the game's main plot
Shades of Grey - Kayla Cousland and Loghain Mac Tir - a three-chapter short, set after the Landsmeet. The Sound of Silence is a one-shot companion piece.
Market Day - Anora - one-shot
