Author has written 3 stories for Battlestar Galactica: 2003, and Killzone.
Hey everyone I'm Joker and thanks for checking out my profile. If you're here, then it means that you've probably read one of my two stories (Helios and Misfits). I'd appreciate it if you all would take a moment and drop a quick comment on one of my stories to tell me if you enjoy it, or even if you hate it! I just enjoy hearing what my readers think about my stories and it fuels me to continue on with what I'm doing!
Helios- Admiral Danforth Ward and the Battlestar Group 86 were saved from the Cylon Holocaust by being fortunate enough to be stationed on a secret base known as Helios. Now, outnumbered and outgunned, they must fight for their Colonies.
Misfits- The 213th Misfit Viper Squadron are known throughout the Fleet as a place for the rejects and unwanted. The pilots, especially Lieutenant Lee Hawley, want nothing more than to serve their enlistments and get out of the Fleet. However, once the war begins the Misfits, through a series of extreme events, become the most experienced and revered pilots in the entire Fleet.
Now for a little about my story. I feel like I threw a lot of information and names out, so if you ever get confused while reading, come here to get it cleared up. Up top is the info for Helios and down below is the info for Misfits! Enjoy!

Also I have the specs for all of the Canon and non Canon ships in my story. I would like to thank Battlestar Wiki for providing the specs for the Canon ships. Also, I previously listed the Galactica type Battlestars as the Columbia-Class, however, after looking about on Battlestar Wiki I found that it is actually in fact the Jupiter-Class. I have gone through and revised several parts throughout the story to make the name correct, but they are still the same ships, so please do think that now that they have a new name that they are different ships. They are all still the same.
The Different Ships of my Universe
The Paladin-Class Gunstar is the newest Gunstar to enter service in the Colonial Fleet, first seeing action three years prior to the Fall. The Admiralty needed a ship that could pack the punch of a Valkyrie-Class Battlestar, but with half the cost and thus, the Paladin was born. Its role is usually restricted to just escort duty, but some flag officers like to take advantage of their maneuverability and firepower to coalesce multiple ships into a "wolf pack" that effectively neutralize larger ships. Despite being larger than the older Sentinel-Class, the Paladin has fewer crewmen due to its updated computer systems.
The Paladin's weaknesses began to come out in full force during Operation: Sideswipe. When the pirate forces began marshaling a force against the Colonies, they began stripping junk yards of scrapped ships to supplement their fleets. With the rebel's force growing significantly, the Fleet began sending Paladins en-mass to the disputed areas of the Colonies. The Paladin, nothing more than a Valkyrie with her flight pods stripped off and half the size, was left vulnerable to the rebel fighters that would strafe and target her engine blocks. Without an escort of fighters, the Paladins were doomed to be left dead in the water. To counter this, the Paladin was usually used in tandem with the Sentinel-Class.
The Sentinel-Class Gunstar is a workhorse in the Colonial Fleet. Entering service just twelve years after the first Cylon War, the ship has undergone multiple upgrades to her systems and armament. Her main armament makes her the most effective anti-fighter ship in the entire Colonial Fleet, but leaves the ship at a huge disadvantage against anything larger than itself. During combat operations, the Sentinel
Command Mercury-Class Battlestar
The Command Mercury-Class Battlestar is a Mercury-Class Battlestar in all aspects aside from her computer networks and the slight increase in weaponry. The Command-Class was designed shortly after the Mercury-Class became the mainline Colonial Battlestar due to the Admiralty's need for a ship that could serve the sole purpose of a fleet command ship. She has a larger CIC and a larger crew to compensate for having to direct an entire Battlestar Group or more.
The Jupiter-Class Battlestar is the oldest Battlestar still in service, being commissioned in the early days of the First Cylon War. The class has undergone dozens of upgrades in an attempt to keep it on the line, but the newer classes have begun to phase the Jupiters out of service. By the Fall of the Colonies, there is no more than five of the ships still in service.
Beta-Class Patrol Frigate
The Beta-Class was Scorpia's main defensive unit before the Cylon War. The popularity of the small ship quickly spread across the Twelve Worlds, and it gained a reputation for being a cheap durable frigate. During the Cylon War, however, the Betas were proven to be a heavily underclassed vessel in fleet-to-fleet engagements. Literally hundreds of the vessels were destroyed during the opening weeks of the war. At this point, the newly formed Colonial Fleet phased out the Beta-Class and its status was downgraded to local colony defense. At the time of the Fall, only the Scorpian Defense Force still fielded the units to combat small pirate threats.
