Author has written 2 stories for Twilight. I'm way too old for this twilight nonsense, am married with 3 sons. Two of them are teenagers, but luckily my youngest's promised to never grow up. I'm a stay-at-home-mom, bored out of my skull most days, and wonder daily if anyone will ever employ me again. I love to cook (big surprise) and read, but I haven't read the Twilight books - there, I said it. I skimmed them online, yes, for the plot, but couldn't stomach the writing. Sorry. Any canon errors are due to that. I really loved writing A Slow Boil - I wrote a chapter a day. It was easy and fun and creative - it was literally all I thought about for the three weeks it took me to write it. The Western is a different matter; it was inspired by this photo of Clint Eastwood holding a baby armadillo that I saw on Reddit, and it just came to me like a movie. Something about Robert Pattinson reminds me of Clint Eastwood - they can both be steely and tough, but they have a soft, artistic side. But it's been harder to write; instead of a chapter a day, I'll sometimes just get out a few lines. It's almost done, though, and I think (hope) it's coming together. 9/13/15: Wow, it felt kind of awful deleting ASB. I really hope no one was in the middle of reading it :(. I'm hitting the 'publish' button tonight on Amazon, however, so soon the story will still be available to kindle readers (and after 90 days to everyone) for a low price. I'm keeping the title and publishing under the pseudonym of Karen Winters. Thanks, thanks, thanks, to everyone who sent me reviews and pms of encouragement! I needed them!!! - kts |
