All Worlds Draw To An End

And now, so has this one. You may have noticed that my stories have become fewer and farther between. It's a result of many things: starting a real, full-time job; my lack of inspiration; a general feeling that it is simply time. I still love writing, but I have come to the conclusion that it's time for me to write my own, original stories. I love writing fanfiction. Without it, I doubt I could be any sort of writer in the future. But I think it's taught me all it can, and now it's time for me to move on. I'll still read fics occasionally, still interact with people on and The Library of Anvard, but I am no longer going to write or post here.

You don't know how hard it is to write this, to make this decision after so many amazing years on . Please, enjoy my stories - I promise to keep them up - and maybe someday you'll see a book out there with my name on it: I'm leaning towards using the pseudonym "Alira Nelson" in memory of where my writing comes from. Thank you all for your reviews and support throughout these years, it's been wonderful meeting you all.

Warnings for my stories: After some thinking, I decided to write a general warning for my stories. You see, I've come to understand that there are some situations in which people can be mentally and emotionally 'triggered' by what happens in fics, and that it is not fair to them to have those triggers without a warning so they can stop reading. However, I also don't want to spoil things for my other readers, and sometimes things, like surprise character deaths, are an integral part of the plot and warning for it would contradict the point of the story. So I am warning here that any particular story of mine, unless I say otherwise, could possibly contain:

character death

references to torture

severe physical and/or emotional injuries

depressed thoughts/severe depression

abuse (this is mainly in my earlier Faramir stories)

scenes of warfare and war injuries

alcohol consumption, including by minors

So please, if you are possibly triggered by any of these things, be aware that they could be in any one of my fics. If you want to read my stories but don't want to risk being triggered, please PM me and I will tell you which stories contain the triggers. Please also note that fics written by other authors based on my fics may also contain triggers, and I am not sure if those authors warn for them.
