Author has written 1 story for Twilight.
Well, I love all things Twilight and all things Italian. I'm so excited cause my parents and I are planning a trip to Italy for later this year, and I can't wait to go to Volterra. Which of course means that, currently, I'm obsessed with learning Italian. I'm taking classes and getting really good at it, so much so I'm now working on translations. Anyway, I can't wait to go to Volterra and take the Twilight tour and actually impress the Italian tour guide with all of my questions in actual Italian. Is going to be awesome! Has anybody gone? Message me if you have. OME!
So, anyway. This past Christmas we were visiting my grandparents in Texas for the Holidays, and after loosing my English-Italian dictionary in the plane I found myself at the library, where I came across a very interesting book. The book looks more like a journal cause it’s leather bound and all handwritten. It might be the worn out look that prompt me to pull it out of the shelf. Or maybe the weird sketches inside it that looked really intriguing. But what really hooked me, once I opened it, was the immediate reference to Volterra on the very first entry.
Needless to say I had to take it home and read it. Thought it would be fun to translate the whole thing to English as a way to improve my Italian. The interesting thing is, the more I read the more it reminds me of Twilight. So I figured I would translate a chapter a week and post it here to see if anyone else sees what I'm saying. I mean, it's getting freaky!
Cause after skimming through the first half of the journal I came up with a few basic notions that are really freaking me out: the journal seems to have belonged to one Valeria Breandan, who appears to have been a seventeen year-old resident of Volterra that witnessed a supernatural event concerning a young couple at the Piazza di Priori’s Clock Tower on Saint Marcus Day a few years ago.
