UPDATE 12/27/2014: I feel like I've grown out of FanFiction, I have no motivation to sit down and write any of my fics. I don't find it as exciting as I used to.
Fanfiction has helped me over the years with my writing. I've been reading fanfic since I was 12 and became a member when I was 14/15 and I'm 20 now.
I still like reading fanfic, but only the ones I have in my favorites list. I just don't have the motivation to go scroll through endless lists of new fics.
I'm not leaving, but I am not going to focus much on my fanfics, I'm currently working on my own personal projects and fanfiction is just taking a back seat, forever.
I will delete some of them that I know I'll never complete, or I just might give it up for adoption.
I'm still debating over this.
I've been feeling like this for an entire year now, anw.
Thanks for reading and thank you for all the helpful reviews that did help my improve my writing.

I saw this post on tumblr and thought that it needed to be spread:
having a gay otp doesn’t make you a lgbtq supporter
reading a lot of gay fan fiction doesn’t make you a lgbtq supporter
i once knew a girl who spent most of her free time reading gay smut, but she was extremely uncomfortable any time she had to interact with a lesbian because she was afraid they’d hit on her.
that’s not being a supporter. that’s fetishizing homosexuality.
nobody cares if you ship destiel or johnlock or whatever, if you’re not okay with real life gay people, you’re still homophobic. it’s the same with guys who watch lesbian porn but don’t think that gay marriage should be legal. you can’t fetishize someone’s sexuality like that. that’s not okay and you are the worst kind of homophobe if you do.
