Poll: Since I've been busy lately; having barely any time to feed myself, I want to know, in order to use my spare time accordingly, which story you would like to see updated. I don't want to go using my free time typing a story that only a few people are going to read since I want to satisfy as much of my followers as possible. So below are the stories that I'm still dedicated to writing and possible new Slim Bob and AU SergeiXAnna stories. Vote Now!
Author has written 12 stories for Fire Emblem, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Fairy Tail, and K.
Birthday: May 4
Age: I graduated in the year 2012 so you can do some math. (Hint: I was never held back nor was I smart enough to be pushed ahead.)
I was brought into this world by my parents who are both immigrants to the United States. Though I don't look like your typical American girl, I don't know a world outside of this country and for that sake, outside my own state of birth. My cousins, who too were born in the States, have always connected with our parents' culture; going to temple, learning the language, dancing, etc.. My family, on the other hand, seem to be the odd one out as we never really cared about our past family traditions and because of this, are referred to as "Americanized." "She's made in the US of A," they say.
Brought up in a family of mainly guys, I grew up a fan of WWE, DC/Marvel Comics, and video gaming. However, no one would ever label me under "tomboy" because even while growing up squished between two brothers, I still managed to preserve my femininity and girliness. I'm easily won over by cute fluffy objects and I'm always into a good romance story. I'm a lyrical and classical dancer and I aspire to be a costume designer, performer, or ballet dancer. Before, I had dreamed of being a marine biologist. How things have changed. I have always been referred to as sweet and innocent...but louder than a locomotive.
I don't know if this was obvious enough, but I did go under the pen name "Mach Lass" when I first started my hobby in Fanfiction. But those were the days of dial-up and PeoplePC, so when technology evolved in my household and our Internet connection was changed, the e-mail I had for Mach Lass (which was connected to the PeoplePC website) went away with our cruddy dial-up. Unfortunately, I wasn't ever able to access that profile again because the e-mail associated with it no longer existed. Upon looking upon my stories from that profile, I realized how much I had improved! But then, at the same time, I see how much more adventurous and enthusiastic I had been when compared to now. ANYWAYS, if any of you guys had been fans of my stories from before, I would be glad to redo those stories and make them up-to-date. Just send me a message and I'll see what I can do.
Color: Pink! (from candy to clothes, toothbrushes to pencils, pretty much everything in the house that's pink belongs to me.)
Quotes: "Although she departed from me first, she left me with eight sisters." --Tiffany Hwang (SNSD)
"All through the ages, a parent's love for their child surpasses any weapon. But remember, if you are misguided in your beliefs, you will only bring harm to those you wish to protect." -- Algol (Soul Calibur IV)
"Your kisses are special. Don't give them to just anyone." -- Hannah (a sweet friend of mine)
Songs: Almost any ballad performed by SNSD (Girls' Generation)
Singers/Bands: Girls' Generation (even though they sing in a different language, I really love their upbeat songs and the humility each member displays.) Beyonce Knowles (in my opinion, she is one of the best performers out there and she really knows how to rile the crowd so that they become a part of the performance.)
Celebrities: I'm a BIG fan of WWE (I grew up watching it with my brothers) so a lot of my favorite celebrities are mainly just wrestlers. Like: John Cena (whenever I see him granting wishes for kids, I feel those tears coming!), Cody Rhodes (he's underrated in my opinion), Chris Jericho (yeah baby!), Wade Barrett (BOHM!) and my favorite Diva, Layla (I swear, she's like the only Diva who has mic skills and she always has a genuine smile on her lips). Besides WWE wrestlers/divas, I don't really care all too much for celebrities/actors/etc.. Honestly, if the most popular celebrity was standing in front of me in the checkout line of the supermarket, I wouldn't even know...
Movies: If you couldn't tell by my profile picture, I love, love, LOVE My Neighbor Totoro. It's so stinkin' adorable! I recently watched The Flowers of War (a 2011 Chinese film starring Christian Bale) on Netflix and let me tell you, it's definitely a must-see. I cried like three times and the ending tore my heart to shreds.
Books: Hand for a Hand by Frank Muir. So lately I've been obsessed about mystery books and though I have read like five in the past month, I can't tell you just how much this book overshadowed the others. Its a mixture of mystery (of course), romance, and horror. Now I think the other mystery books I read had the elements as well, but their detectives paled in comparison to Andy Gilchrist. He made that story come to life. Now, if you know me, I have never bought a book in my entire life because I just can't read the same book twice. But with Hand for a Hand, I recall having reread that book at least twice. It was so amazing and I almost refused to return it! If you're into crime novels, I greatly recommend!
Animes: Rurouni Kenshin, Speed Grapher, and Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu (Honestly, I'll give any anime a try, but it has to reach my high standards for me to keep watching. I'll turn it off if the sight of a hot, oblivious schoolgirl who's showing off her bust without even knowing shows up on my television screen.)
Manga: I don't read manga much and the ones I do read, I prefer to watch the show. However, one manga has captured my attention and I think everyone should read it if they have the opportunity. It's called Maoh: Juvenile Remix and it is so deep and intelligent, it makes you think about your actions and other people around you. I guess you can say it's pretty psychological. Anyways, I liked it. I also loved King of Thorn! Ahh! It had the greatest twist of all time in it!
Video Games: Phoenix Wright Series, Professor Layton Series, 9 Persons 9 Hours 9 Doors (999 for short), Warhawk, Tekken, and the classic Tales of Symphonia and Phantsia (I really think the quality of games are going downhill nowadays since all people really care about now are first-person shooters. What happened to the games that would leave me with a tingly feeling when I finished it? Maybe I'm just getting old...)
Hobbies: Sewing/designing outfits (never before had I thought I'd pursue this hobby), dancing (though nearly impossible, I want the world to be my stage), and of course writing! (not to toot my own horn, but I do have some pretty neat penmanship which encouraged me to make good use out of it.)
Superheroes/Villains: Nightwing is my dream man. If a real life Nightwing just dropped down on one knee and proposed to me, I'd say yes, no questions asked! But when I say real-life Nightwing, he has to have everything: the same face, same (sexy) build, same name, and yes, he has to fight crime in a tight latex suit. My favorite villain is Poison Ivy since I just love the combination of sexy and dangerous. Then I also like X-Men's Storm and Wolverine along with Power Girl and Batman (if you love superheroes, you gotta' love him).
Couples/Pairings: Anna/Sergei from Tekken (probably one of the most random pairings ever, but I just love the "opposites attract" thing and you can't get more opposite than these two), Taki/Mitsurugi from SoulCalibur (although two of the most obvious characters to pair, they have yet to be together!), Kagura/Saiga from Speed Grapher (it feels so wrong to like them together...), Storm/Wolverine from X-Men (again, the "opposites attract" thing), and lately, Superman/Wonder Woman (I don't know why a lot of people are so anti when it comes to this couple, but the comic geek within me will continue to support their newfound relationship in New 52 until the day I give my last breath!)
Holidays: Christmas! (I just love how the city gives off so a magical feeling during the season.)
Weather: Depending on my mood, I'll like the rain, clouds, snow, hail, sleet, wind, but I'm not a big fan of sunny days. Growing up where average summer weather is 100 degrees Fahrenheit (37 degrees Celsius), you'd get pretty sick of the sun too.
TV Shows: Project Runway (though I admit, the outfits I like are the ones the judges hate. Maybe I have bad taste...?)
Food: Fish (so long as it has more meat than bones), ICE CREAM! (I'll love any flavor from vanilla to cake mix.) Brownies are pretty stinkin' delicious too. Oh, and cake! (Yes, I do love sweets.)
