Author has written 17 stories for Harry Potter.
This picture is a sax. It's not mine...although, I wish it was. But I still love mine :)
Clearly, I love music with a passion. I play sax, piano, clarinet, and I've been begging for SIX years to go to guitar lessons. It hasn't worked :/
Sportswise, I play tennis. Tennis is great. I don't love it like I love music, but it's still a hobby :)
And I only seem to be able to play racket sports: Tennis, Badminton, and Table Tennis idk. it's weird, isn't it?
I love fanfictions a lot. It allows the readers to really broaden their minds to think about the characters and their traits. A good fanfiction really takes into consideration the traits of the character. The writer asks themselves: What would this character do in a time like this? This is basically character analysis, whether you know it or not. I like writing mostly Harry Potter fanfics, but I may eventually start writing Maximum Ride ones, too. I prefer Harry Potter fanfics for a few reasons. First, I am in love with Harry Potter. JK Rowling is my writing idol. I have seen such creativity and talent in her books that is TIMELESS. She is an amazing author and deserves every penny she gets. Second, JK Rowling happens to leave a lot hanging in the books. What I mean is, with the minor characters, as in people who don't appear as often as Harry, Ron, and Hermione, she doesn't give you a lot of information about them. For example, you know that during the end of the 5th year, Lily hates James. Yet suddenly in the 7th year, she agrees to go to Hogsmeade with him. JKR doesn't explain how this happens. That is left for the reader to imagine. There are countless example like these throughout the books. These are where Fanfics can really come into play and what I usually like writing about the most.
Pairs I like:
Draco/Astoria (She's so unknown, and that's why she's perfect for it. None of the other characters in the books seem like a good match for him)
Neville/Hannah (Sure, she's kind of random, but I can't see Neville with Luna...at all)
Luna/Rolf (She needs someone who can tolerate her...oddity. And that, would be ROLF! After all, who else would be great with Luna other than the grandson of the writer of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them?)
George/Angelina (I don't think Angelina was that attached to Fred to be with George just because he looks like Fred. And I think both George and Angelina are too smart for that to happen)
Bill/Fleur (I don't think Fleur's as...girly as others think. She was a triwizard champion, right?)
Percy/Audrey (this is only because I can't see Percy will someone from the stories. They're all...not good for him :P)
--I like to keep it as Canon as possible...
Pairs I dislike beyond toleration:
Ginny/Anyone but Harry
Hermione/Anyone but Ron
I also hate Snape being paired with anyone, he loves Lily and that's that.
Same with Sirius, he's the type who doesn't need a girlfriend.
Draco DOES NOT belong with Harry, Hermione, or Ginny.
And Scorpius and Lily (Luna) do not belong together.
AND, Lily (Luna) and Teddy together is just WEIRD. They're like 11 years apart and she, in the epilogue, that it'd be cool if he and Victoire got married. Clearly she hasn't fallen in love with him. And, just because Reumus fell in love with Tonks, who is 11 years younger than him, doesn't mean Teddy has to. Sorry to those of you who enjoy it :/
Once Upon a Time
Once upon a time, I used to write. I used to write a lot...I had ideas flowing out of my head onto paper like a waterfall. People liked my writing, encouraged me to continue. Writing takes time...it takes dedication, passion, practice. I realized I shouldn't be putting any of that into my writing... because writing's not important to me. If I put dedication, passion, or practice into my writing, I'd have to take it out of something else, something more important to me.
Writing was an outlet last year, something to take my mind solely off of everything I had to go through last year. It was engaging. I stopped writing once I knew my mom was going to live. I didn't need that rock anymore.
There was no reason for me to continue...there was no reason in my mind. And because I could no longer find a practical reason, I knew my days of writing were over.
I left my writing on the side of the road and moved on.
2/26/13 -- I now keep a blog if anyone's interested.
Check it out :)
