Author has written 6 stories for True Blood, Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries, and Twilight. *September 2012 Update* I want to apologize to all my readers for my sudden, unexpected hiatus from writing. Several of you have been kind enough to send me PMs or Reviews telling me how much you missed my stories, hoped I was doing well, and couldn't wait for the next update. I can't tell you enough how much those PMs and Reviews meant to me - so thank you. Some of my readers know that I have an anxiety disorder along with ADHD and sometimes the anxiety episodes lead to bouts of depression. Around the time my unofficial hiatus started, I was struggling immensely with the anxiety and depression. By the time my medicine was adjusted and I started to feel a little more like myself, my family and I were knee deep in boxes as we prepared to move back to our home state since my husband had FINALLY finished all his medical training and signed on to join a private practice. So, in addition to trying to keep my anxiety under control, we were moving, my husband was starting a new job, my kids had to start new schools, and I went from working from home to working back in the office. When we were finally settled in, I started anticipating writing again but then several out of town trips were required of my husband, my daughter broke her foot, and my job has suddenly become incredibly time consuming. Long story shortened to a few words - Real life has been unbelievably hectic and demanding for the past 6 months. Luckily, I've been able to find some stress relief in reading fanfiction, but finding the time/energy/concentration to write has been impossible so far. Does this mean I'm abandoning my stories? Absolutely not! Over the past couple of weeks, I've been thinking a lot about Selfless to the End particularly and trying to plan out the next part of the story so I have a place to start as soon as I get time to set down and write. So, what's next? I wish I could say I'll be posting again in a week or so, but I don't want to promise anything and then disappoint my fans. What I can promise is that I'm not giving up on my stories. I hope you will understand and still be willing to read my stories as soon as I can post again, but I also understand how hard it is to maintain interest in a story that hasn't updated in months. Either way, thank you all for being such great fans and for sticking with me so far. I hope to be writing and talking to you all again soon. I've been addicted to fanfiction ever since I discovered it two year ago. I've always been the type to image what would have happened in stories if one circumstance had changed so I just love this website. I've found so many talented writers on here and I really enjoy reading their stories. As far as my personal life goes, I'm a married mother of two that works full-time and my husband's work schedule is very heavy (60-80 hrs a week). Therefore, I don't always have a steady ability to update but I make time every chance I get since its my stress relief and your reviews are my reward. I hope you all continue to enjoy my stories. Please be assured that even though my update schedule is not regular, I will finish my stories. You can read the summaries below, but I've also included a few comments about each story in my profile. Selfless to the End: This was the first story I published and I've been blown away by the response. I'm not 100% sure yet how long it will be, but I think we're over halfway there. When Vampire Met Fairy: I was several chapters into "Selfless to the End" when this storyline occurred to me and wouldn't leave me alone. I read a lot of fanfic and I haven't read one like what I have in mind so I hope you all like it. It's been a long time since I've updated. I will probably pick this one back up after I finish STTE. Bring Me to Life: I wrote this story as a one-shot for the "I Write the Song" contest. I was ecstatic to win 2nd place in the Public Vote and to be chosen as Sponsor's Choice. I am still adding to this story when inspiration hits me. It will not be as long as STTE or WVMF. A Series of Unlikely Event: Once I got the idea for this story I couldn't ignore it. I haven't had a lot of time to dedicate to it yet, but more will be coming. What Might Have Been: This is only a oneshot and I will not be continuing it. This was one of the ideas that went through my head when I was brainstorming to write "Bring Me to Life." It wouldn't leave me alone so I made it a oneshot. The Dark Horse: This is my first Twilight Fanfic. I'm really excited for what I have planned for it and I can't wait to get back to it. I'm not sure how long it will be yet. It's a Jasper/Bella story. I've copied all my stories over to wordpress due to all the issues here. I will continue to post here, but my stories will be on my wordpress account first. I also may publish teasers from time to time on my new website. The address is: http:/// Also, Pamismymaker created a wonderful banner for When Vampire Met Fairy. You can see the banner at the website above. |
