My anime recommendations (what's in parenthesis is what I've watched until):
Baccano (season 1/all episodes available) - Now this show isn't for everyone as there are graphic scenes that happen throughout, mostly nearing the middle/end [little spoiler: such as a child killing] The character(s) that are being focused on also jump around a lot as well as the time periods. They do, however, intertwine with each other. There is comic relief throughout too so it's not overwhelming with all the drama.
Shiki(Season 1/all episodes available) - Lots and lots of death in this one. Not gonna lie, you'll probably only remember certain characters by their hair [the hair in this show is magnificent btw]. I'm kinda scared to watch the end because I feel like I'm going to cry T.T That aside, this show makes you think and wonder how everything is going to end up. Update: I thought the ending was a bit anticlimactic, but it was a good show overall.
Haikyuu(season 1) - I have a thing for sports anime and this volleyball one is no acceptation. It's hard not to like everyone, even the ones on the opposing team. It's also worth to note that this show is hilarious. No joke. I can't handle these volleyball dorks [Also Tsukki. He and Kuroo are bae.]
Owari no Seraph(season 1 and 2/all episodes available) - Really though, who doesn't know about these gay vampires :D
Assassination Classroom(season 1) - Having only a year to kill your teacher before he blows up the world? Sign me up! [I really don't like anyone other than those in Class-E. I mean, who does? All of those other students are little shits. Even the principle. The only one that is okay is Gakushu Asano and even he is a jerk. The only reason I say he's okay is because he wants to take down the principle. I also think (secretly) that he has at least a bit of respect for Class-E, especially after that whole exams thing.]
Parasyte(season 1/all episodes available) - A unique one here that I'm sure almost everyone has seen. Was I the only one who thought the Migi was adorable? No? Good. [little spoiler: that end tho T.T]
Gangsta(season 1/all episodes available) - This one is getting mixed reviews, some hating it and others loving it. I, personally, liked it a lot. It's refreshing to have a main character that has a disability and is still badass. Be warned that there is some child abuse as well as prostitution in the show. I really hope it gets a season 2.
Prince of Stride Alternative(currently aired episodes) - Ever wanted to watch a sports anime about running? And not just running, but parkouring too? Well look no further as this is the anime for you! Seriously though, check this one out. You won't regret it. [The bromance between Riku and Takeru starts almost right off the bat XD]
Death Parade(season 1/all episodes available) - Can I just say that almost every episode made me cry and I don't even know why. After watching this, however, it's make me value life higher than I did because you never know when it could end. Seriously, go watch this.
Kuroko no Basuke(season 1 and half of season 2) - Don't say it. I know I'm slacking, but I will get it done eventually. For anyone who hasn't seen this, go watch these basketball nerds!
Ao no Exorcist(season 1/all episodes available) - Rin is one of the most adorable demons you'll ever see. I'm a bit disappointed about how it ended, but what can you do? I heard that there's a movie though, so I still have to go watch that.
I'll add more when I remember/watch any others :D
