Author has written 19 stories for Harry Potter, Fairy Tales, and Sherlock.
The picture that is my profile pic was done by the lovely and amazing Jasmin, who is the artist who also did the picture for The Winds of Time cover.

My favorite 'modern' authors include: Tamora Pierce, Barbara Kingsolver, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Orson Scott Card, Emily Roda, and Jean M. Auel. All of these authors have written amazing books. I wish there was more fanfiction for The Circle of Magic especially. I would love to see the different relationships that could spin out of the Circle. Too bad there isn't a big CoM community.
My favorite 'classic' authors include: Fitzgerald, Austin, Bronte, Kafka, Achebe, Alcott, Orwell, Tolstoy, and Steinbeck.
Information you may or may not care about:
My favorite color is gray, for no reason. I love it.
My fandoms: Harry Potter, Sherlock, Doctor Who, and I'm starting Supernatural, so god help me.
I love the Phantom of the Opera, especially the music. Beautiful. My new cross over love is Severus as the Phantom and Hermione as Christine with Harry as Raoul. You can find The Phantom of Hogwarts at ashwinder.
My cousin is also on this site, but her stories are in French, because elle est francaise. Je suis francaise, mais je suis americane aussi. Si vous parlez francais, lirez le histoire du Gwen.Sg. C'est incroyable! J'adore ma cousine.
About me and my FF interests:
I love Harry Potter. To the point of obsession. Siriusly. My favorite character is the one and only Hermione Granger, probably because she reminds me of myself. Minus the curly hair I've hoped and dreamed of since kinder. The only thing that drives me nutso is that she is paired with Ronald Weasley in the books. What was J K Rowling thinking? Here is how I see it: Kind, intelligent, loyal girl gets paired up with the insensitive, rather stupid, deserting boy. Nuh uh. Not in my book. That pairing makes as much sense as Harry and Ginny: boy who claims to hate his fame marrying the girl who has been in love with his image since her mother told her a beddy-by-time story about the Great Harry Potter. Which is, by the way, a FAIRY TALE.
Speaking of fairy tales: they are my second literary love. I love all types, be they fairy tales, faerie tails, myths, fables, or legends.
Back to Harry Potter, or rather, Hermione Granger. I think she needs a man who can match her in maturity and intellegence. I like her with a matured Harry, Remus, Sirius, or Severus. Sometimes Cedric. Occaisionally Draco. Maybe a Weasley brother other than Ron. Before getting squicked about the age gaps, or Severus, please hear me out. Hermione is smart, mature, and caring. It makes sense for a girl like her to marry someone older than herself. Remus is good because of his loving nature, and because Hermione can help him get over his furry little problem. Sirius because he is smart and sexy and because he has Azkaban issues. And Severus because he is sexy and dominating and smart and has tons of major issues. For really good Severus Hermione, read The Problem with Purity, When a Lioness Fights, and, The Incident in the Great Hall. Or you know, my Severus/Hermione story, For the Only Hope. All great stories that are wonderfully written.
Other characters I like: Luna and Neville. They are under-appreciated by Harry Potter fans. Especially Luna. One day I will write a story about her. I want to get inside this girl's head so bad...
Sherlock: Benedict Cumberbatch is the most attractive man in the known universe. Just saying. I like him with Irene Adler, but I'm not against Johnlock. Parentlock pics and fics are very adorable. There is so much I have to say on this subject, but most of it is prominently displayed on my tumblr, which can be found above. I really love the Adlock ship because it gives a relationship between intellectual equals. If you want more of my view on this, see my four Adlock stories, below.
Our Story - My first Harry Potter fanfiction. Cute and sweet, or so I think. H/Hr romance. Their daughter asks them to tell their story. First thing I really wrote- beware that my grammer and syntax is not as great as it is in my other stories. Sorry. One day I will fix it.
Our Story: Remus - Sequel/Prequel to Our Story. In Our Story, Lily had several older brothers, one of which is named Remus. Hermione mentions that all her other children have heard their story. So this takes place before Our Story, but in the same universe. Basically the same story.
The Depressed Musings of Harry Potter - One day I will finish it. But no one has shown any interest in me finishing it. Not one of my finer moments. Read at your own risk. Or rather, don't. It's not worth it- promise. Hermione acts way too much like Ginny for my taste. And I wrote it! I'm blaming PMS.
The Winds of Time - My piece de resistance. My masterpiece. My baby. My one true love. This is the story I have put the most time and effort into. It started as a little idea that grew so big I was shocked. I put a good portion of my time into writing this story. Trust me: after chapter 8 the chapters get longer and better written. Then in chapter 11, Harry comes and it gets a bit gooey. It is 100,000 words strong and still evolving. I love the reviews I get from this story, as they are a huge confidence boost for a not very confident girl. Just saying. Drop me a review. It's over and one now, but it was brilliant while it lasted.
The Language of Flowers - Depressing. Suicide depressing. I was sad when I wrote this. I think it shows, don't you? Implied H/Hr, implied R/Hr, said out right SB/HG. I actually like this one. It has a lot of symbolism in it. See if you can spot it.
Paris Nights, New York Mornings - A new story I have started, quite stupidly before TWoT was done. I will update sporadically, as the inspiration strikes. I got the inspiration from the song by Corinne Bailey Rae. Amazing artist. Hermione comes back, after modeling around the world. She never meant to be famous. She just wanted to get away, but things got out of hand. Now she's back, and falling in love with her best friend all over again. I think this will get quite long. Currently on hiatus, because I messed up and don't really like it anymore.
The Truth of 1995- Not the best title, I know. It is another Sirius/ Hermione. This one is about a secret relationship in the summer before and during Hermione's fifth year. I have yet to decide whether or not Sirius dies. Please check it out and review! It is different than my other stories. An illicit relationship between an thirty-something and a teenager. Something that fascinates me.
Melancholy: This one is Draco and Hermione. Basically, when they meet alone one day by accident, Hermione is sad and Draco stops being a little snot while they ponder their own mortality. And then it happens again, after the Final Battle. And then again at the Ministry. This was for Gwen, for her birthday. I liked it a little too much and got carried away. :)
He Remembered Her: This is a Sherlock fanfic. Sherlock and Irene met before Belgravia. It tracks the way that their meeting affected the story, but not by changing canon.
Let's Have Dinner: A personal favorite. Remember all the texts that Irene sent Sherlock? What if they were a game between the two? Irene sends a text, Sherlock decodes it by figuring out what restaurant she's at. It's all intellect and games... until sentiment develops. SEQUEL IS UP!
A Scandal In Burleith: The sequel to Let's Have Dinner. This takes place in Washington D.C., after the fall. Sherlock and John go to D.C. at Mycroft's request, only to find that a certain British dominatrix has her fingers in all sorts of political scandals. Also, M RATED for Sherlock/Irene sex. :) FINISHED!
The Secret Chord: Another Sherlock/Irene fanfic, a songfic (Hallelujah) that goes through canon (and some AU smut) and examines the Adlock ship.
An Extension of the Mind: Yet another Adlock. Inspired by Series 3.
For the Only Hope: My baby and my darling, my glorious Severus/Hermione fanficion that I have been writing for years. I was too afraid to post it, and then I did so on a whim and got amazing feedback. I expect more than half of it is already written, and I'm posting weekly for now. It is going to be long, (probably as long or longer than TWOT) and I personally think it is some of my best writing.
Love and All it Entails: Severus and Hermione AU several years after the war in America. Shortish and sweet. Nice happy ending.
I don't think there is anything else. Other info you need to know:
Please do not PM me- if you have tumblr, message me there. I have disabled the function, because it is a requirement of my parents for me to be on the site. I am here to read and write, not chat with an invisible person. I know most of the people here are not stalkers or psychopaths, but it never hurts to be careful. But this means none of my work is beta'd. Sorry. I catch as much as I can, but I never catch anything. If a review tells me where I made a mistake, I fix it as soon as I can. One day I will go back and fix things...
ALSO: This year is going to be busy. I recently got a job, I have an incredibly intense load for school, I have college applications, and TONS of homework and volunteering, so I'm probably going to slow on the updates. Sorry, but c'est la vie.
