Author has written 6 stories for Twilight, Sherlock Holmes, and Thor.
I'm from Germany. So it's highly possible that mistakes occur in my writings and my reviews, because English is not my mother tongue. Please inform me when you find any grave ones.
Now more details:
I was born in 1980 and studied German language and literature studies and Philosophy. Now I'm a (very busy) teacher for these two subjects.
I love watching movies (favorite director: Hitchcock), reading books (favorite author: Stephen Fry), listening to music (mostly metal, gothic and rock; momentary favorites: Fair to Midland, Marilyn Manson) and writing stories.
The name Gwendolen Fairfax comes from the play "The Importance Of Being Earnest", written by Oscar Wilde. If you haven't read it, do it! It's brilliant and unbelievably funny.
I have an absolutely gorgeous beta who gives her best to improve my stories. She was bold and gorgeous enough to approach me with this idea and I'll be eternally thankful for that. So Kristen, lemme give ya a hug!
About "Last One Standing":
Sometimes I think the story is a little overambitious, it's dark and the characters are complex. But for me, it's a cathartic experience.
About "On The Road":
It's just a little fun side piece to "Last One Standing".
About "The Apartment":
Compared to "Last One Standing" "The Apartment" is not nearly half as dark and grave. I think it's easier to read and overall a little more fun. My inspiration for this one comes from basically every Billy Wilder movie and - oddly enough - from the Batman graphic novel "The Killing Joke". Strange combination, but it works for me.
This is just an experimental one-shot.
About "On The Last Day Of Christmas":
I liked the last Sherlock Holmes movie very much, maybe too much. This fanfiction mirrors this fact, sillily.
News and Furthermore:
11/2 - I hope you all had a nice Halloween. I know I'm awfully quiet these days, but of course I'm still writing (I couldn't do without), just very slowly.
