Well, look at this. It seems you have a taken a wrong turn in your travels of the internet and landed yourself in hell (otherwise known as the FanFiction profile of Sapphire Wych). Since you're here, you might as well take the time to learn a little bit about the resident of this little corner of the web.
So, it's nice(ish) to meet you. If anyone is out there reading this, I have no idea who you are. You can either remain anonymous to me, or send me a quick PM. I couldn't care less; it's your choice. Whatever you decide to do, I'll introduce myself here. My name is Sapphire Wych. It's obviously not my real name, but just a pen name I made up years ago. I chose it because I have blue eyes, and one of the many meanings of my real name is "witch." It sounded good to me, and it stuck, so I've been known as Sapphire Wych for around four years now.
When I first started up this account, I used to be very different. Obviously I was quite a bit younger; I had been only 13, but now I'm 17. I had just barely reached puberty so I was shorter, I was a bit thinner, and I hadn't gone through many of the "lovely" changes that accompany growing up. If you don't know what the changes I'm talking about are, you're probably too young to be on the internet without adult supervision, and certainly too young to be browsing FanFiction. If that's the case, sit your parents down and ask them to have "the talk" with you, then go play outside (or if outside is a disagreeable place to you, go play on Club Penguin or something).
However, even though I've changed a lot physically, my personality has changed even more. One year ago, my persona was that of a stereotypical, hysterical, bubbly fangirl. I still enjoy fangirling, however I am more subdued about it and not likely to want to get into a fist fight whenever someone insults my OTP. Now, I am also more cynical about things, and brutally honest about what I see around me. Some people would call me a pessimist but I would argue that I am a realist. I am sick and tired of dealing with people and the bull they put others through. Yes, I know some of you will call me a hypocrite for writing that, and you'll claim that everyone puts other people through crap, and I agree with you. I am probably very hypocritical, but I feel what I feel, and I think what I think, and that won't change just because someone decides to call me a hypocrite.
I am also a walking contradiction. I am a blonde-haired, blue-eyed German (Welsh, French, and British) girl, and I know for a fact that when most people see me, they think "Oh, she looks sweet, and nice." And then they actually meet me. I love the colour black, I am a huge fan of heavy metal, I truly enjoy violent video games, camping is one of my passions, and I am obsessed with zombies. Those are somewhat weird qualities for anyone to possess. But then there's the other side of me. I am the living embodiment of the word "nerd." Sci fi, fantasy, reading, writing, fangirling, TV, movies, anime, school, anything you can think of that's considered nerdy, I'm probably into it.
Now, if by some miracle you're as insane as I am and are taking pleasure in reading my profile, kudos to you. Embrace the crazy, yeah? I'll write this under the assumption that, if you ARE reading this, you actually care about what I'm sharing about myself. So, I'll share a bit of the superficial crap.
Favourite movies: Well, we own a lot of movies at my house. And by a lot, I mean we could probably rival a video store. Well, if that video store sold only sci fi, fantasy, and war movies, that is. But that makes it difficult to narrow down my favourite movies to a short list. I like most Marvel superhero movies. I like Harry Potter. I'm a fan of Star Wars and Lord of the Rings. My dad and I are really into old sci fi movies too, as well as old comedy teams (like Abbott and Costello, and The Marx Brothers, and The Three Stooges).
Least favourite movies: I only have one. 2001: A Space Odyssey. I hated that movie.
Favourite books: I practically live in a library. My room is stuffed with over 400 books, with no room for extras. However, that doesn't stop me from buying more. I, again, have too many favourites so I'll try to narrow it down for you. Harry Potter, Divergent, Cinder, Shadow and Bone, Masque of the Red Death. Most of these are books that I read last year and really enjoyed. And Harry Potter is there just because how can you not love it?
Favourite TV shows: I have a lot of these too... Doctor Who, Warehouse 13, Once Upon a Time, Almost Human, etc. If you haven't watched any of these shows, I suggest you get you butt to wherever you can access Netflix and marathon these beauties.
Favourite bands: Somewhere in that mess above, I mentioned that I love heavy metal. While I'm not picky about the sort of metal I listen to, I do have a few favourite bands. In no particular order they are; Five Finger Death Punch, Metallica, Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack, and Three Days Grace.
Favourite colour: This is the second easiest for me to answer. While I also like dark blue quite a bit, black is my favourite colour by far.
Favourite food: BACON. That one took absolutely no effort to answer.
And finally, because I'm sick of spoonfeeding you guys facts about me, I'll give you some links that will tell you what I'm up to and how to find me in the future.
During November, I took part in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month), and I met my word goal which means that I won a free self-publishing offer. In other words, I'll likely be getting a book published. Go follow this Twitter account for news on that: https://twitter.com/DealsWithDevils
Also, I've set up a joint Twitter and Tumblr account where I interview up and coming rock and metal bands. It's pretty neat. The Twitter account can be followed here: https://twitter.com/RockInterReview and the tumblr account is here:
And with that, I will leave you. If your brains aren't leaking out of your ears at this point, then you have done well coping with my insanity. Now get of here and go read some fanfiction. I know that's what you've been waiting to do so go, and be free!
