I'm an Australian mother of three boys, who is finally--after six years--writing again. Once, I worked full-time as a computer programmer, played the piano, sang solo and in a choir, sewed formal wear for my friends, did maths puzzles for fun, and thought Wikipedia was only slightly less dangerously addictive than fanfiction, desperately read anything I could get my hands on, and wrote, and wrote, and wrote. Now, I'm lucky if I get ten minutes to myself every day.

In those ten minutes, I'm desperately trying to exorcise the plot-bunnies that plague me in my dreams by writing. I'm going to be a published writer one day, and fanfiction is my way of sharpening up my writing skills, building confidence, and developing the useful habit of actually finishing things. Like all writers, I love reviews, and I particularly love constructive criticism - it helps me improve. So be cruel to be kind! I've dabbled in a number of fandoms. My published works are Harry Potter (my very first stories--I feel that my writing has moved on quite a bit from here), Artemis Fowl, and Sherlock. My work is crossposted on high-quality archives at the Sugar Quill for Harry Potter, and Criminality for Artemis Fowl, and on Archive of Our Own. Some of my most recent stuff is only available on AO3, because... adult themes, no suitable rating available here.

As far as what I read goes, I'm an any-shipper - the originality of the concept, and the quality of the writing and the depth of characterisation is far more important to me than what ship you sail.
