It's five o'clock in the morning, the snow is up to my knees outside, and I think I've gone around the bend. I've cleared a bunch of my stories from this site, for various reasons, but mostly because I was no longer pleased with them. Several of them hadn't been updated in years. My interest in them had waned. Some just had so many errors that I couldn't bear to leave them up like that. Velvet, Leather, and Motors has many, many things wrong with it, but I'm leaving it just like it is--at least for now. It was the first story I had ever managed to finish. Maybe, one day I'll go and fix it. More likely though, I'll just write the sequels I've had dancing around in my mind for years. On a slightly different note, The Soulless and the Dragon was being rewritten, and it no longer kept together well enough to just update the chapter content. Everything just got so out of whack when I started adding new chapters. So I've removed, what was once a complete fic, and begun posting the new. There was just so much left undone in the first version, it was rushed and I wasn't entirely pleased with my characterization and some of the directions I chose to go with it.
To those readers who enjoyed: Lost Dreams, The Tragedy of Red Whispering, and Samirah I'm very sorry that I've taken these stories from you. Please don't be too angry with me though. They will be back one day--I haven't given up on them yet. I just want them to be the best stories that I can make them.
I have so many ideas, I only hope that I can motivate myself to put them to paper (or to keyboard?) and keep up with the updates and posting. Wish me luck.

So yesterday I built the biggest snowman ever and nearly froze my toes off. Rain boots are great until snow gets in them. I took chapters 2-5 of The Soulless and the Dragon down to check for errors, they'll be back soon.

Just a few updates- had a swell christmas. I bought a fish and named him Elvis. And a couple weeks later I wrecked my car. I'm mostly uninjured but my car is not. I promise I haven't given up on tSatD. My story is also in my car, so until I get my car back (it's being fixed) I wont be able to post anything more on The Soulless and the Dragon. I hope you'll all forgive me and look forward to the sixth chapter when it appears (hopefully in a week or two).

I've been working all week on chapter six of tSatD but it's been a struggle. I'm just not sure that I'm going to be as pleased with this chapter as I have been with the others, or the one that's following it. My brain needs a break, or a silly one-shot to act as a soothing drug. But what to write about? I know that I want it to be a Soulless story... but as far as topic of the one-shot goes? I have no idea. Not true, actually, I have several ideas--almost too many. Perhaps my readers will have suggestions.

I've been gone for way too long. Real life has a tendency of getting in the way. That being said--I'm Back! After so long away I know I have tons of work to do. tSatD is still being writing (though I'll admit, it's been a couple years) and may acquire a new title. My brain got going recently and the whole premise for that story changed. I like the new idea much better. Well, I like what it's doing to keep my brain active in any case. I don't know if anyway every gets around to reading profiles (I do, but that's me) but I just wanted to take a moment to say"--
Hello, I've missed you fanfiction, I've missed you readers, and I've missed you writers, who are a constant inspiration (and endless motivators) to this often gone author.
--also. If anyone know's how to delete a community I can't remember creating, but obviously did, that be great. I can barely manage my own time on a good day, much less a fanfiction community.
