Author has written 61 stories for Covert Affairs, Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries, Daria, Big Bang Theory, Common Law, NCIS, and Criminal Minds.
For first time ever, I had to stop and then delete a story 'cause no one was reading it: Criminal Affairs Morgan/Garcia "The Island." Of course, when I announced I'd be stopping the story, the reviews piled in. Too little, too late. Plus, I don't think readers understand that, despite the review numbers THEY see, they don't see the view counts (or lack thereof) that the writer can.
If I love the story or have it completely written out, I'd have gone ahead and finished it, but I really wasn't feeling the Morgan/Garcia vibe to push myself to finish.
The main storyline, stranded on desert island, is still in my mind, but I'll now be moving it to my main go-to genre, Covert Affairs. Not that there's a lot of readers left there, after the show writers went rogue and made up such ridiculous storyliens that they lost the majority of their viewers (including me) after they broke up Annie and Auggie.
To stave off the disappointment of lack of reviews or readers, I'm thinking of writing it all out before posting. Considering my lack of free time, it might take a while, but I do like the story want to write it all out eventually.
