Anybody still reading this?
General info: I'm a very busy 40-something who's written since she learned how to write and read since she learned how to read.
Movie/TV fan. However, I also work in the TV biz, so sometimes I get a bit TV-weary. When you HAVE to watch it, it's not as much fun as it used to be.
I started writing fanfic a handful of years ago, around the time Covert Affairs came out. The initial premise of the show was promising, but USA Network did as they do and ran the show into the ground. TV execs really need to learn to keep their meddling out of our shows. I immediately stopped watching CA when Auggie's "wife" showed up. Seriously? That was the most ridiculous plot twist I'd ever seen. Couldn't have just left our super couple together and happy, eh?
I'm getting off point. I write when I'm inspired and have time. Sometimes that meant I had a new chapter every day, but sometimes (like now) it means I haven't published anything for a long while.
Also, if there's no traffic counts, no reviews, and I'm not inspired to keep writing, I've learned to just stop writing. "It's really hard to sing when nobody hears your song."
So, that's it. Am I still writing? Yes, and I may publish, but it'll be when I'm done and not before.
Have a good day.
