Good Day!

I'll start with some simple basics. I'm Christine. I'm 26 years old, a college graduate with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature. I'm bisexual (my pairings seem to reflect that) and married to a lovely man who acts far to much like a stereotypical Gryffindor for my usual tastes. I have two dogs and work as a full time Stay At Home (dog)Mom at the moment.

I joined the Fanfiction community in approximately 2005 as a reader and occasional writer, though at the time my stories were horrid and are therefore not published on this website (I seem to recall a fanfiction where Hermione cried literally every chapter, one where she discovered fanfiction and read some disturbing stories regarding Hermione/Severus pairing, and one where she snogged Malfoy senseless as a way to get rid of her "Good Girl Reputation" forever... really really bad).

In 2012 I began writing again, and while improved I still think I needed a lot of work. I like to think that with every story I've improve somewhat. Just over a year ago I finished writing Eighteen Again, which is my absolute pride and joy. While I've written several other long-term fics, that is the only one which I find myself almost entirely satisfied. For the most part, I tend to write one-shots. I adore short glimpses into people's lives, and my writing reflects that.

As a reader, I enjoy a whole wide variety of stories. My number one fandom is, and will always be, Harry Potter. I primarily read romance, because it makes me all fluttery and girlish. If Hermione is involved, and Ron is not, I'm most likely interested. My primary ships are: Hermione/Minerva (holy addictive ship!), Hermione/Remus (My oldest and dearest love!), Hermione/Fred and/or George, Hermione/Charlie, Hermione/Tonks (so rare!), Hermione/Neville, and Hermione/Harry. I also enjoy Minerva/Dumbledore, Sirius/Remus, and Tonks/Harry. (Yea, I'm pretty much easy as long as Ron isn't involved.)

I also enjoy reading Hunger Games (Katniss/Haymitch, Katniss/Joanna, Katniss/Finnick), Buffy The Vampire Slayer (Willow/Anyone, Buffy/Giles), Sherlock (Sherlock/Watson), and the occasional Sethon (If you know what that is I'm astounded, and think we should be friends so I have someone to share my most gulity pleasure with).

I write Harry Potter and Hunger Games fiction. In the realm of Harry Potter I have worked recently to expand my writing. I have primarily written for Hermione/Minerva and Hermione/Remus, but also dabbled with Hermione/Fred, Hermione/Luna, and Hermione/Harry. I have a Hermione/Tonks in the back of my mind for later, as well as a new Hermione/Remus.

In the Hunger Games I almost exclusively write Katniss/Haymitch, because there just isn't enough of that happening. I have also written one full-length Katniss/Joanna and found I enjoyed that nearly as much. Several of my Katniss/Haymitch stories are currently being reworked, because two years later I don't like them so much, but I still adore the pairing.

My hope is that you will read my stories, enjoy them, and give me lots of ideas for improving my writing! I appreciate every review I get, and take criticism as an active challenge!
