Author has written 15 stories for Song Fics, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, X-Men: The Movie, and Matrix.

Welcome to my humble page! I'm a 25 year old with a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (yes, I'm a mad scientist or hoping to be one someday). I want to get into genetic engineering someday. It is my ultimate goal to be able to help those who suffer from genetic disorders like Down's Syndrome, Systemic Lupus, and Sickle Cell Anemia, just to name a few.

Other stuff about me:

Nicknames: skiffy (a sad little nickname that came from the fact I have a strange affinity for picking out the science fact in science fiction), Gollum (because I do a really good Gollum impersonation), and the Mad Scientist (for many reasons)

Hobbies: I've been dancing for 22 years (at the same studio no less) and hold the studio's record for never missing a ballet class (stands at 17 years now). I take lessons in ballet, tap,and jazz. Recently, I've started dancing modern too. I use to be an acrobat until my sister tore her knee up. Then I stopped since seeing a family member go through knee therapy does that to a girl. Though, oddly enough, I'm still double jointed and strangely bendy (yes, I like to sit in splits and straddles for no good reason other than the fact it's nice and comfortable). I'm a Daisy Girl Scout Leader. That means I work with the youngest scouts in the troop (kids between the ags of 3 and 7). By the by, I have a brown belt in Tae Kwan Do.

Quotes (I collect Quotes...a bad habit I picked up in high school):

"God creates dinosaurs, God destroys dinosaurs, God creates man, Man destroys God, man creates dinosaurs, dinosaurs destroy man, women inherit the earth" Ian Malcom and Elle Sattler in Jurassic Park.

"Mutation. It is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward." (Jean Grey from X-Men 2: X-Men United)

"Change your stars." (Master Thatcher from A Knight's Tale)

"I solemnly swear I am up to no good!" (MWPP--Harry Potter)

"I've seen the truth, Mulder. Now what I want are the answers." (The X-Files)

"The truth is out there but so are the lies." (The X-Files

"Even the smallest person can change the course of the future." (Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings)

"I don't know half of you half as well as I should like and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve." (Bilbo Baggins from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring)

"I am on Nobody's Side. Because nobody is on my side..." (Treebeard from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers)

"Rock and pool, is nice and cool. So juicy sweeeeet. I only wish to catch a fish so juicy sweeeeet!" (Smeagol from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

"The Force will be with you...always." (Obi-Wan)

"We are but visitors on this rock, hurtling through time and space at 66 thousand miles an hour. Tethered to burning sphere by an invisible force in an unfathomable universe. I believe... The truth is rock...I believe visitors...the truth is out there!" (The X-Files: The Truth and the Light)

"Love is a many splendor thing, Love lifts us up where we belong, all you need is love..." (Ewan McGreggor as Christian in Moulin Rogue)

"Live right now, just be yourself; it doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else!" (The Middle by Jimy Eat World)

"It's the honest ones you want to watch out for, because you can never predict when they are going to do something incredibly stupid." (Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl)

"The only rules that really matter are these: what a person can do and what a person can't..." (Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl)

"The Matrx is everywhere, it's all around us, even here in this room. You can see it out your window or on your television. You feel it when you go to work, or go to church or pay your taxes. It is the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth." (Morpheus in The Matrix)

"What do I do. I'm a key figure in an ongoing government charade. An annoyance to my superiors. A joke among my peers. "Spooky," they call me. Spooky Mulder. Whose sister was abducted by aliens when he was a kid. Who now chases little green men with a badge and a gun, shouting to the heavens and anyone who'll listen that the fix is in. That our government's hip to the truth and a part of the conspiracy. That the sky is falling and when it hits it's gonna be the storm of all time." (Mulder in The X-Files: Fight the Future)
