![]() Author has written 15 stories for Song Fics, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, X-Men: The Movie, and Matrix. Welcome to my humble page! I'm a 25 year old with a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences (yes, I'm a mad scientist or hoping to be one someday). I want to get into genetic engineering someday. It is my ultimate goal to be able to help those who suffer from genetic disorders like Down's Syndrome, Systemic Lupus, and Sickle Cell Anemia, just to name a few. Other stuff about me: Nicknames: skiffy (a sad little nickname that came from the fact I have a strange affinity for picking out the science fact in science fiction), Gollum (because I do a really good Gollum impersonation), and the Mad Scientist (for many reasons) Hobbies: I've been dancing for 22 years (at the same studio no less) and hold the studio's record for never missing a ballet class (stands at 17 years now). I take lessons in ballet, tap,and jazz. Recently, I've started dancing modern too. I use to be an acrobat until my sister tore her knee up. Then I stopped since seeing a family member go through knee therapy does that to a girl. Though, oddly enough, I'm still double jointed and strangely bendy (yes, I like to sit in splits and straddles for no good reason other than the fact it's nice and comfortable). I'm a Daisy Girl Scout Leader. That means I work with the youngest scouts in the troop (kids between the ags of 3 and 7). By the by, I have a brown belt in Tae Kwan Do. Favorite books: (I really, really, really like to read) Basically anything by Robin Cook (Personal Favorites "Mutation," "Chromosome 6," "Contagion" any books with Jack and Laurie as the main characters, actually) Michael Crichton (Personal Favorite "Jurassic Park" I'm badly attached to this book and movie because it inspired me to go into genetics.) I'm a key figure in an ongoing government charade. An annoyance to my superiors. A joke among my peers. "Spooky," they call me. Spooky Mulder. Whose sister was abducted by aliens when he was a kid.
