Author has written 2 stories for Twilight.
I am an older woman, no, let me restate. I'm an old woman. I'm too old to be obsessed with Twilight, but there it is. I suppose it is because I am surrounded by men, having a husband, four adult sons and 5 grandsons ranging from 15 to 7 and a grand daughter who is about 9. I have to escape somewhere. I have actually written for years, but this is my first venture into having someone else read my writing. I used to write Beatles fan fiction when I was in high school. That should tell you how old I am.
I will add that I'm ADD and slightly OCD, making me a strange combination. I have a warped sense of humor, my sons tell me.
Ok, so now I need to rant a little. I read a lot, but I have to stop reading when the writer doesn't know the difference between your, you're or their, there, they're. And then when someone has pointed it out to them, they get defensive and say that they are not an English major. OK, but if English is your first language, then, at some point, homonyms were covered. I'm talking about stories that have good story lines that I just couldn't read because of this. So-o-o, it's 'wouldn't have', not 'wouldn't of' and 'you've got another think coming' not 'another thing'; 'writhe' not 'wither', 'definitely' not 'defiantly', 'choaked' not 'chocked'. Ok, rant over.
The picture in the profile is of my sons.
Not that I talk on it much, but I have a Twitter account. I'm kind of boring and I can't imagine why anyone would be interested.
I retired in January 2013. You would think I would have made some progress on one of the four stories I have started, but no, they just don't seem to hold my attention enough. What I have been doing is making jewelry and drawing house plans. Drawing house plans is something I have done most of my life. I have a blog which does not address any of my fiction and probably never will. It is: alwaysdesigningsomething.blogspot.com. I post some of the plans I have drawn and some of the jewelry I have made.
