Author has written 2 stories for Twilight, and Vampire Diaries.
This is my first attempt at writing a Fan Fiction of any kind. I was first introduced to Fan Fiction in 1997, as a 14 year old fan of 'The X Files'. I loved reading stories that were in canon and explored the tension in the Mulder / Scully relationship and the darker side of Mulder's psyche.
From 2000-2010 I read next to no Fan Fiction, but all of this changed in February 2010 when I finally caved and read 'Twilight' whilst on an overseas deployment with the Australian Army. I was immediately drawn in and had a very impatient wait of four weeks before my immediate order of the next three books arrived in the country.
I started writing 'Cardia & Dynamis' in August 2010, but put it aside as I had more pressing commitments at hand. I have now picked the story up again. After seeing 'Breaking Dawn: Part 1' on the weekend I was reminded of all of the elements I wanted to consider from Edward's perspective.
I love Edward and, like everyone, would love to see Stephenie Meyer finish 'Midnight Sun'. Edward is a good character, with realistic faults. He is not above selfishness and jealousy and yet due to his high ideals and background he is in constant conflict within himself as to what is right and what will make him happy.
My least favourite Edward scene ever, was in 'Breaking Dawn' when he tried to convince Jacob to ask Bella whether she would consider having children with him instead of Edward. The moment the words were out of his mouth I wanted to hit Edward with my book, but then I remembered how much he loved Bella and how hard those words must have been for him to utter. Edward was also desperate to save Bella's life.
My story 'Cardia & Dynamis' aims to tell the story up to and beyond Renesmee's birth. However, not in the typical 'Breaking Dawn' EPOV sense.
I intend to update daily during the week (Not on weekends). Chapters are short at ~1000 words.
Please review and I hope you enjoy it.
