Author has written 7 stories for Lizzie McGuire, and Harry Potter.
I’m a single adult male. I’m American, currently living in the state of Michigan. I have one sibling, a younger sister, who has four children. Both my parents come from large families, so I have more cousins, older and younger, than I can count. I grew up on U.S. Army bases, including being born on one in (then West) Germany. I also spent many of my teenage years in Germany, including being there for the nasty business with state sponsored terrorism from Libya. I missed the fall of the Berlin Wall by just a couple of months.
I was a strange child. I never had a ‘girls are yucky’ stage. This may be why I can say, with complete honesty, that my first real, heart mind and soul love, was with a girl in my THIRD GRADE class. Sadly, being an Army brat means moving a lot, and that romance ended when we moved that summer. Okay, I’m getting depressed now, so I’ll stop that subject here.
I love history, but hate the way most schools teach it.
I've listened to country music all my life, but I also like Queen, Enya, Mussorgsky, and other performers from all styles.
My favorite books are the Ender saga from modern American science fiction author Orson Scott Card. One of my favorite quotes comes from the second book in the series.
"This is how humans are: We question all our beliefs, except for the ones that we really believe, and those we never think to question."
While I don't consider myself an author, I do have a poem I wrote about the Challenger disaster. I wrote it about a year after it happened (took that long to get the thing from head to pen). It's at this site's sister site, FictionPress.Net
For a long time, I had an idea for a story floating in my head. Finally, it took root, found a setting (which still surprises me), and I decided to write. This became my long Lizzie McGuire fic "No Time to Waste". My shorter LM fic, "Suddenly", is a real tear-jerker, not something I normally like. But it came to me so strong, I had to write it.
I read many different Harry Potter ships. Some are difficult enough to find stories for that I've joined groups dedicated to them. One of these groups had a couple of challenges that I just couldn't escape from. The results are "The Worst Christmas" and "New Year's Wake-Up Call". They, in turn, helped spark "Harry Potter and the Two Year War".
As a long-time opponent of censorship, I will go on record as being opposed to fanfiction's decision concerning NC-17 stories. With so many other options, a complete ban is, at best, excessive.
On a final note, about favorite stories. If it's a sequel, than it's safe to assume that I enjoyed the other stories in the series, but unlisted them to make room. If it isn't finished, then it is there so I can keep tabs on it. If it is finished, then I enjoyed it. That doesn't mean it is any good, just that I liked it (Hell, I still enjoy Police Acadamy 6, and I'll tell you flat out that that movie is B-A-D BAD!).
