Hi there. :)
I call myself Sara K M for my fist name, my middle initial, and my last initial.
As far as the kind of couples I like, there are a lot of them that I've been interested in over the years, and I won't bore you by listing them all. But my favorite kinds of couples these days are what I call "established couples." These are couples that have already gotten married and, preferably have already had a child or children as well. And they still make their romantic relationship work. (Although I like backstories, too.)
I'm also interested in how younger couples' developing relationships effect their relationships with their parents.
Usually I read Cobert stories in Downton Abbey fandom. But I've read a few good Mary/Mathew stories, too. And I'd really like to find one where Mary does get pregnant by Parmuk and Mathew offers to marry her anyway. Does anyone know of a story like that? It would seem like an obvious fanfiction plot.
Favorite romantic quote. The couple is being held captive indefinitely by the "big" bad guy. "So long as we live, there is hope. A thousand years we have suffered. A thousand more would I bear, just for what few bells (hours) he grants us together." - Elfeya v'En Celay, King of Sword and Sky. From the Tairen Soul series. (And she means "a thousand years" literally.)
Now that, ladies and gentlemen, is love.
Speaking of the Tairen Soul series, someone suggest I put a "glossary" of some of the Fey terms for those reading Tairen Soul fanfiction fandom blind. C. L. Wilson does that in her books, too, so...
she'tanitsa/truemate bond: rare bond between mated Fey (or partially Fey)'s souls. Allows their relationship to be unbreakable, even by death. Such couples are able to feel each others pain, no matter where they are, and can use mind - speech without magic.
Shei'tan/Shei'tani: beloved, husband/wife truemate.
E'tanista:most common mating bond among Fey. A chosen bond of the heart, but not as deep as truemate bond.
Shei'dalin: A Powerful female Fey who can heal and truthspeak anyone.
Truthspeak: By touching someone, a shei'dalin can force someone to speak the truth about anything. Even the strongest will weep if they try to resist the compulsion to tell the truth when being truthspoken.
Sel'dor: A black substance that burns Fey flesh and causes extreme pain if they try to do any magic.
"Speaking in Spirit" - mind speech that all Fey are able to use. Only needs a "level one spirit weave."
As you may be able to tell from my profile, I write for a several different fandoms. I consider many of the stories from those fandoms to be in the same universe. Recently, I have decided to write them out in chronological order, so my readers can understand each universe better. If you so choose, you will also find it easier to read them in chorological order.
