Hi I'm Jaspersdoll
Most people call me Barbs or Barbie, I am in my mid 30's, I look like I am in my mid 20's and I act like I am in my mid teens. Joking about the teens stuff, its more like late teens. I love reading. It's one my favorite hobbies (when I have time). I was once a professional musician but gave that up when I was at the peak of my music career to follow acting - kidding! I needed to make more money to pay the bills. Eventually I used my university degree to get a job. Too bad I really hate my job, it sucks balls. However, it's as they say 'You work to live and you don't live to work'.
I'll be the first to admit I am a bit of a laggard when it came to actually reading the Twilight novels. Severely misinformed, I hired the Twilight DVD - YES DVD! That's how slow I am - thinking it was a horror movie or at least some dark vampire movie. I still remember watching it and thinking 'what the f...' My husband was extremely disappointed and I could not understand why Bella fidgeted so much to the point of annoying, and seemed to have an issue with excessive blinking...so I decided to read the book.
So I read all 4 of them. New moon annoyed me a little. It was extremely depressing and I was hoping that she wouldn't take Edward back (I sure wouldn't). Eclipse was probably my favorite amongst them. I like a little action in my novels.
I hate shopping even though I can sniff out a bargain a mile away. I love horror, thriller, murder mystery and action movies and novels. I exercise regularly, not just because I like to keep in shape, but it's time to myself to listen to some music and energize. I am a chef, a maid, a counselor, editor, hair and makeup artist, fashion adviser, computer and technology geek, research assistant and sometimes legal adviser, to my family and friends (even my male friends drag me to go to the shops with them for fashion advice). I do it all with a smile on my face, happy to help those around me.
So that is me introducing myself, hopefully it didn't bore you too much?
