A little about me...
Reading and writing are two of my favorite hobbies. I also play RPG video games and watch anime. And a fair number of other activities, but they don't impact my writing as much. Among my favorite authors are Edgar Allan Poe, Christopher Stasheff, Hideyuki Kikuchi, Dick Francis, Isaac Asimov, Ambrose Bierce, Nicholas Stuart Gray and R. A. Salvatore.
Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy IV and the mostly panned Saga Frontier are my favorite RPG video games, though I like most RPGs that Squaresoft has released. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is another favorite video game of mine too.
Among the anime titles I enjoy are: Card Captor Sakura, Weiss Kreuz, Vampire Hunter D (and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust), Master of Mosquiton, Petshop of Horrors, Yu-Gi-Oh (and Yu-Gi-Oh Capsule Monsters), Nightwalker, D.N. Angel, Bakuretsu Hunters, Pretear, Fruits Basket, Samurai Deeper Kyo, Black Blood Brothers, Sorcerer Stabber Orphen, and the first season of Fushigi Yuugi.
Poetry is usually therapy for me, as it's a way for me to distill emotions I feel too deeply into a form a little easier to bear.
I'm still working on all 'in progress' stories no matter how long they've been static. The best way I've found for me to handle the dreaded 'writer's block' is to keep writing -- something else -- so I write wherever the current inspiration leads. That doesn't mean I've abandoned any story posted here, just that solid inspiration (solid enough to spark writing worthy of being posted) hasn't come back to it, yet.
The empty space between "Once upon a time..." and "...they lived happily ever after." (even when those aren't the exact words used) is my favorite playground. Play with me? Reviews, comments and critiques are always welcome, including negative ones, as long as they are helpful. Please, feel free to contact me and offer feedback on my writing, as I need all the help I can get!
Thank you, to all you brave souls, who read my stories. Thank you, twice over, to anyone who reads and leaves a review, or PMs me with feedback.
:many grateful bows:
Current writing project: A massive edit and reworking of Shadows of Schala, mostly to correct Glenn's archaic grammar as best I can; fix improper use of commas and exclamation points throughout; show, not tell, the activity in later chapters; and finally bring the story to a close.
