Author has written 24 stories for Sonic the Hedgehog, Freedom Planet, Batman, Transformers/Beast Wars, Wonder Woman, Birds Of Prey, Young Justice, Pokémon, Green Lantern, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.
Hi there users of FanFiction.Net. I am Mixedfan8643, a passionate writer who hopes to have a career in the medium in the future. :)
I love to write. Ever since I was a kid, I've always been a story-teller. My passion for story-telling came from mostly making up stories about stuff I watched on TV. And my passion just grew and grew and grew as time went on. Now I actually put my stories down on paper and write them. It hasn't been an easy road to success though. Oh no...my writing took a long time before it was something I was satisfied with. I used to write a lot of stories for the fun of it but I never really appreciated the magic of writing enough to actually put effort into it and make it actually presentable. So my stories used to be VERY bad with some one-dimensional characters, bad pacing, random events happening for no reason and overall, just poor plotting. It wasn't until I started researching writing that I began to see that there's more to it than one might think. I studied the various tricks of the trade, the little gimmicks that make stories work and how to properly construct an idea.
And thus, here I am, a much loved fanfic writer with many watchers and some stories for you all to enjoy. :D
My longest story so far is Sonic the Hedgehog: Heroes of Mobius with 227 chapters (225 chapters plus a prologue and an epilogue). I spent THREE years and TEN months of my life writing it! 0_0 I couldn't believe it when it was finally over...I kinda miss writing it though. :( Oh well, all good things must come to an end. Heroes of Mobius is very special to me for not only has a good portion of my life been spent writing it, it defined who I am as a writer. The story started off shaky at best but it just got better and better as it went along. Now with over 80 favourites and 60 followers and being featured in FOUR different community clubs on the site, Heroes of Mobius will easily be my one and only "magnum opus"...even though it really hasn't aged all that well. ; You guys may like it but personally, I think I've done better in recent years.
The story has a spin-off title called Sonic the Hedgehog: Tales from Mobius and you MUST read it as well the main series too.
Oh and there's a story called The Terror of Enerjak which you need to read too, it's kinda important. Kinda VERY important that is.
I have a story called Phony Tails which in all honesty...is pretty bad. The comedy makes no sense and is very random and I don't know why I've not deleted it yet. (shrugs) Oh well, at least some people like it...
And there's also a re-write of Archie Sonic's Endgame saga on my profile. Believe me, it's better than the original story in the comics. As in the plot isn't ridden with holes and inconsistencies. Oh and it's not an idiot plot either.
I used to have a trilogy of stories known as The Devatron Trilogy but they were BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD! Really, really bad! The stories were ridden with deus ex machinas and plot holes, the Devatrons were too over-powered and there was pointless shock-value galore! Don't expect to ever see them again, I deleted all three of them! Those pieces of crap are gone for good!
And now there's Freedom Planet: The Christmas Raid. I must say while writing it, I've captured the spirit of Freedom Planet well. :) I rather enjoyed writing the interactions between Lilac and friends and of course, my OC villain for the story, Natalya the Lead Scarf, was a really great character. My favourite in the story even. I hope this'll become a Christmas classic for you Freedom Planet fans to enjoy every December. :)
The Christmas Raid has also got a sequel: Freedom Planet: Curse of the Dark Stone. I'm dead serious when I say this...I actually think this is my best story so far. Yes, even better than Heroes of Mobius. The story was a pleasure to write from the progression of events to the deep emotions of the characters and how they develop from them and the build up to the future sequels is perfect. I still love Heroes of Mobius but I really do think this is my true "magnum opus" now. :D
And then there's another sequel: Freedom Planet: The Darkest Day. This one stands out to me for being probably one of the saddest and heaviest stories I've ever written, especially in the ending. But don't let that put you off, it' still worth reading. ;)
And after that, there's Freedom Planet: Life in Exile. The story follows on from The Darkest Day and is quite heavy and yet touching at the same time and has an ending that makes the events of the previous story worth sitting through.
And to fill in the spaces between CotDS and LiE, we have Freedom Planet: Planet of the Serpents which shows us what Torque's been up to during the events of The Darkest Day and Life in Exile. It also sets up the events of the final story so it's very important you read it. Trust me...
I've teamed up with user SonicChaosEmerald to write a fanfic called Freedom Planet: Darkside which sees Team Lilac going up against their alternate counterparts from a darker version of Avalice. It's currently cancelled for now.
There is also a crossover between Sonic and Freedom Planet, a highly requested idea that many people wanted to see. It's called Sonic & Freedom Planet: Worlds of Freedom and is canon to the games of both franchises so no, you DON'T need to read my fanfics in order to understand it. It's self-contained in its own continuity.
Late Night Skirmish is merely a one-shot I wrote to practice writing for Batman. A series eventually followed on from this, titled Batman: I Am The Night. I may even write fanfics for other DC heroes too.
Heroes of Mobius also has a sequel series: Heroes of Mobius: 15 Years Later. It takes place 15 years after the events of Heroes of Mobius and focuses on the lives of our heroes after the series. It features a series of novellas that all tie-in together like the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Has slightly more adult themes and a darker tone but still stays true to its predecessor. It's currently cancelled until further notice. :(
I also have a second crossover which is titled Batman & Ladybug: Miraculous Knight. It's what you expect, a crossover with Ladybug and Batman and I teamed up with a good friend of mine, Reece Wooldridge, to write it. I'm honestly amazed it was such a hit but happy nonetheless. :D Didn't expect it to be my most popular fanfic ever... It has a sequel titled Ladybug and Wonder Woman: Gods and Gems in which it's a crossover with Miraculous Ladybug and Wonder Woman. Once again, Reece Wooldridge co-wrote the story with me. And now there's a another sequel titled Ladybug and Young Justice: Dawn of Heroes in which it's a crossover with Miraculous Ladybug and Young Justice. The final story in this series is Ladybug and Green Lantern: Light of Life in which it's a crossover with Miraculous Ladybug and Green Lantern.
And now I'm delving into the world of Transformers with Transformers: The Cybertron Wars, my own take on the Transformers series and one I've been planning for years. I even wrote a four part essay detailing who's going to be in it and the backstory of this entire world so one could say I'm well prepared for it. ;) Sadly it didn't go much of anywhere and is now cancelled.
I have recently written my first ever Pokemon story, which is Knights of Galar: A Pokemon Shield Nuzlocke. I was interested in the Nuzlocke challenge that many Pokemon fans participate in and decided to give it a go. There'll be a sequel based on Sword when it's done and another sequel based on the Isle of Armour DLC for both games, as well as a sequel based on the Crown Tundra. The series will then conclude with a Nuzlocke run of Let's Go Pikachu.
Emerald Knights: A Pokemon Sword Story: A sequel to the first Nuzlocke in which this time it's set in Pokemon Sword. It'll focus on Ruby's younger sisters, Emerald and Sapphire, as they take up their own Pokemon journeys and the two compete to see who will challenge Ruby for the title of champion. But they'll have to deal with two fanatical weirdos posing as celebrities as they threaten the Galar region with a nefarious plan involving Zacian and Zamazenta along the way...
The Isle of Armour: A Pokemon Story: Another sequel based on the Isle of Armour DLC for Pokemon Sword and Shield. Sapphire is the star here as she journeys to the titular Isle of Armour to try and find a new calling for herself as her loss in the Pokemon League semi-finals has her feeling aimless. Will she conquer the trials of the island? And what new friends and enemies will she make while she's there...?
The Crown Tundra: A Pokemon Story: Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire are invited by their cousin, Gloria, on a grand adventure in the Crown Tundra, a mysterious, icy area that is home to many species of Pokemon outside of mainland Galar...and is also a gathering ground for Legendries. As the girls join an expedition led by a man named Peony, what Pokemon will they catch on their journeys? Why are all the Legendry Pokemon gathered here? And will Gloria become a great trainer like her cousins have...?
Journey Through Kanto: A Let's Go Pikachu Nuzlocke: The finale to my Nuzlocke Universe. Ruby and Hop are married and sire a daughter named June together. On her 13th birthday, June wishes to be a Pokemon trainer like her mother, so the Silverlock family takes a holiday to the Kanto region to make that dream come true as June wants to have her own journey rather than follow the same path her mother went on. She makes fast friends with a feisty Pikachu that she catches and the duo journey through Kanto to become the new Pokemon Champion, but not without running into a familiar criminal organization along the way...
The Tails Adventure: A planned story loosely based on The Tails Adventure that will be set in the HOM-verse. Still suffering from the events of the Dark Armada war, Tails and Cosmo both agree they need a well-deserved holiday away to recover from the trauma they both suffered at Finitevus's hands. But what's supposed to be a quiet vacation on a cosy little island becomes a fight for their lives when they get caught up in a huge civil war between two warring armies of flying Mobians, the Battle Bird Armada and The Flock. Things get worse when Cosmo is kidnapped by The Flock and Tails is taken to the BBA to be forcibly recruited. Will they put an end to this war? And who's the mysterious archer that appears to be watching over them...?
Heroes of Mobius: Aftershock: I just can't get the story to work...it's been in development hell for ages now and I STILL can't get the story to work...no matter how hard I try, nothing seems to fit. It's been like trying to ram a square into a circular hole. The plot was supposed to be that Enerjak miraculously makes a comeback. But then I started adding subplots and the story fell apart. The original story had a subplot that didn't coalesce in the slightest. I tried another subplot but that either had nothing but filler, made Enerjak less like the main villain of the story and had characters that seemed to have a tough time fitting in. I'm sorry, I'm REALLY sorry...but I just can't get this story to work in ANY way...so this story will NEVER see the light of day again.
Freedom Planet: Planet of the Serpents: Set between Curse of the Dark Stone and Life in Exile. Torque takes the spotlight as he and his crew end up on a world full of snakes. Cyborg snakes that is...I lost interest after Chapter 6 and feel unmotivated to continue it so I cancelled it, thus leaving it unfinished. To give you an idea on how it was meant to end though, I posted a chapter explaining how the final chapters were going to go.
Heroes of Mobius: Fifteen Years Later: Fifteen years after the events of Heroes of Mobius, we get to see a new, episodic story that focuses on the lives of our much older but still very heroic Royal Fighters. We'll also meet new characters, see lots of romance and action and a new villain that you all may be surprised at. It'll be a BIT more adult-themed than Heroes of Mobius, but not that much. CANCELLED
Batman: I Am The Night: This series is pretty much what I did with Heroes of Mobius for Sonic, my attempt at making my own Batman continuity. There will be familiar elements and new elements to give this continuity its own image. CANCELLED
Freedom Planet: Darkside: Set in my FP fanfic universe, it features Team Lilac against alternate versions of themselves. Consider it FP's equivalent to Justice League's "A Better World". Co-written with user SonicChaosEmerald. CANCELLED
Transformers: The Cybertron Wars: Basically my own Transformers series much like HOM and IATN were my own Batman and Sonic series. CANCELLED
Birds of Prey: Black Death: The origin story of my version of the Birds of Prey in which the team forms together to stop The Ratcatcher from recreating the Black Plague. CANCELLED
My favourite writers, and also my biggest influences in writing are:
Anthony Horowitz: British author, writer of Alex Rider, The Power of Five, The Diamond Brothers and The Devil and his Boy.
Mark Walden: British author, writer of the H.I.V.E. and Earthfall series.
Roald Dahl: Norwegian-British author, writer of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, Danny the Champion of the World, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Giraffe, The Pelly and Me, The Enormous Crocodile, The Twits, Esio Trot and MUCH more.
The writing team of the 2003 TMNT cartoon: They're just such a good team of writers! :D
The writing team of Pixar Animation Studios: Without those guys, we wouldn't have Pixar's amazing movies now would we?
Paul Dini: Comic book and TV series writer. Written several Batman comics such as "Mad Love" and wrote for the Batman Animated Series of the 90s. He's also the writer of the first two Arkham Games. :D
The writing team of Daredevil: How they managed to create such a compelling series full of gritty realism, serialized story-telling and complex characters is anyone's guess. They make every episode feel like a work of art and make the show so good to watch. :D
My least favourite writers are:
Ken Penders: His "writing" is an insult to literature with horrible dialogue, bad twists and plot holes galore. He's also got a big ego.
The writing team for Spongebob Squarepants: It still baffles me that this thing has an audience. To me, it's too juvenile for adults but it's too messed up and risqué for kids. I don't enjoy their writing for a lot of the time, they confuse disturbing with funny and just don't think their writing's very good.
The writers for Teen Titans Go: These guys don't know what they're doing and they're nothing but trolls. Nuff said.
The writers of The Simpsons: I've never found their comedy to be all that funny and their stories tend to be very plot-hole ridden and have the occasional bad message in them.
The writers of Family Guy: These guys have DEMENTED sense of humour and seem to be more interested in grossing you out and disturbing the fuck out of you then trying to tell good stories and construct a good comedy. Family Guy's writing gives comedy a bad name.
Karl Bollers: He's more tolerable than Ken Penders as a person but as a writer, he's just atrocious. He made some big stinkers during his time on Archie Sonic...
Stephen Moffat: This guy is the Ken Penders of Doctor Who. Not only does he make the show too complicated to follow these days but he also has an "It's All About Me" writing style and introduces a lot of silly concepts like the "Sonic Sunglasses" and he makes the show more about his characters than the Doctor himself most of the time.
