I figured it’s about time that I update my profile on here. I am still a mother of two who loves to write, however I find myself working on more and more projects with my husband. We’ve got some great original work we’re working on. I find that fan fictions helps keep my creative juices flowing, and it’s good practice to improve my writing skills.
In the past, I was obsessed with Sky High fan fiction, but it is such a small fandom in the scheme of things. I have deleted most of my previously posted The War Within Series, and I may repost a completely reworked version someday, however I’ve found myself trapped within the Harry Potter Universe. My husband, who I affectionately refer to as *The Hubby* has taken over the remaining Sky High Fiction: From Cat to Bat and The Coming Doom. He has completed The Coming Doom and I have deleted the two stories from my profile. If you are reading this series, I would suggest finding looking for them under The Hubby. Here is a link to his profile: http://www.fanfiction.net/u/4003809/
I find that I no longer have writer’s block, but the complete opposite. I have far too many ideas, and not enough time to complete all of my projects. I have several original works started; however we’re concentrating on one that we’re really excited about. It has nothing to do with my name, but someday the Manuscript with Talis in it will be published, however it probably won’t be for years to come. I also have four different Harry Potter Fan Fictions. Because of the recent purge of this sight of all potentially MA content, my previously posted fictions: Just Let Me Die and Death Eater’s Toy have been removed and The Joke Book Trap has been edited. If you are interested in reading the adult version of JBT or the other two deleted stories, you may find them in the Adult FanFiction archives under TalisRuadair. I am in the process of rewriting Death Eater’s TOY, so it is not fully posted yet and I will be making some major changes to the story line. I will also need to edit it greatly for this site if I decide to post it here.
Please do not read the Joke Book Trap. I am am currently going through to add proper citations for the quotes, paraphrases, and scenes that I have taken directly from the great work Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (1813). I will be adding those citations over the next two days, as I neglected to do so when I first wrote it. I was under the impression that my disclaimer was enough, but then I realized that I incorporated her dialog too well within the framework of my original writing. It was unintentional, as I was paying homage, but I want the opportunity to fix it.
If you have found your way to my profile, I hope it means I’ve either left a really interesting review that’s caused you to check me out, or you’re enjoying one of my fan fictions. If it’s the latter, I’d appreciate hearing from you. You don’t need an account to review, as I’ve opened the flood gates for anonymous reviews. Wow, I really think I’ve talked about myself enough already. I’d rather not seem as arrogant or conceited as Draco Malfoy on a good day…
