Occupation: A mere student
Location: Here, there, everywhere
Ok, so I'm going to be straight forward here. I'd like to think that I'm incredibly committed to one fandom (I've always been slightly envious of the authors who stick to one world and write about it fabulously) but that's just not something I can do. My mind wanders far too much (also why my stories rarely go beyond two-shots). Therefore, my fandoms can jump around so much it's not even funny. I suppose I can say that I'll always hold my deep love for Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, but after that who knows? As an example, I'm currently indescribably in love with Inception (hence the avatar of the mind-bogglingly amazing Joseph Gordon-Levitt as my favorite character, Arthur). I'm also currently reading The Hunger Games series (on Mockingjay!) and will therefore be sprouting little plot bunnies from that world as well. Probably just keep an eye on my avatar in order to figure out what my latest obsession is. I suppose my jumping around can be somewhat irritating, but at the same time, it keeps things interesting.
Also, like I stated above, my stories are usually only one or two chapters. I've yet to find the inner focus required in order to write a full out, intense, multi chapter story. There are just far too many little plot bunnies jumping around in my head to allow me more than a few days on a single one. Also, I tend to focus a lot on vignette and character reflecting type stories. I've always found characters and relationships between them fascinating (I know, weird right?) and therefore easily devote stories to exploring what I think makes a character be the way they are. But hey, I do occasionally get a little crazy and write action/adventure type things. They can be awfully entertaining to write :)
Expectations, an Inception fic: He was the point man. It was his job to know everything. How in God's name then, had he allowed such an important piece of information to get past him? Arthur/Cobb friendship; set during the Fischer job.
