...HARK. YOU'VE ENCOUNTERED A WILD 'SPICA CELESTE' ON YOUR FANFICTION SAFARI...
Hit 'Hide Bio' (it's there for a reason!) to skip this part of the expedition or continue reading for some facts about this barely-tame authoress.
Since you've chosen to continue reading, some things you ought to know about the 'Spica Celeste' include the origin of her name. 'Spica' is the brightest star in the constellation, Virgo (the 'Spica Celeste' is typically nocturnal), while 'Celeste' comes from the name of the little owl that runs the planetarium in the popular DS game, Animal Crossing.
The 'Spica Celeste's' personality can be very changeable, so beware. She has a very poignant dislike of people in all their forms, especially those that can be found as customers among retail environments. Her temper is ferocious and she despises ignorance and prejudice. The 'Spica Celeste' has a hatred of most foods, is a hypochondriac, an attention-seeker, selfish, a Capricorn (i.e. lazy), a huge hypocrite, vain and very self-destructive. 'Spica Celeste' is also a perfectionist, which is what makes her so elusive around Fanfiction.net, as her fics take approximately an ice age to both complete and then fully edit. This is something that, according to research, the 'Spica Celeste' is working on improving.
Despite this, the 'Spica Celeste' isn't all bad. She makes friends easily, if she finds you to not be a prick, and has a good sense of humour. If you're willing to try your luck, you'll find the 'Spica Celeste' to be a loyal, outgoing and receptive friend. Among other things, the 'Spica Celeste' is highly protective of her family, especially her younger sibling, and holds them very close to her heart. Furthermore, 'Spica Celeste' can be bribed with the band Poets of the Fall (whose mating calls she is highly susceptible to), the cola-flavoured Chupa Chups and shiny jewellery. She is native to England, UK, but can communicate in Spanish also.
'SPICA CELESTE' CAN BE FOUND IN ANY AND ALL OF THE FOLLOWING HABITATS AND WILL TYPICALLY PREY ON THE CHARACTERS LISTED IN THE BRACKETS (not in order of likelihood):
- Supernatural (Dean, Sam)
- BBC Sherlock (Sherlock, John, Mycroft)
- BBC Merlin (Merlin, Arthur)
- 2009/11 Movie!Verse Sherlock Holmes (Sherlock Holmes, Dr Watson)
- Doctor Who (10th Doctor, Donna)
- Assassin's Creed series (Ezio, Leonardo, Federico, Petruccio, Giovanni, Yusuf, Altaïr, Malik, Kadar, Desmond, Shaun, William, Connor, Haytham,)
- The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Vilkas, Farkas, Brynjolf, Ulfric)
- NCIS (Tony, Gibbs, McGee)
- Dragon Ball Z (Trunks, Future Trunks, Vegeta)
- Thor (Loki, Thor)
- Avengers (Loki, Thor, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers)
- Batman (Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, Alfred Pennyworth)
TYPICAL BEHAVIOUR OF THE 'SPICA CELESTE':
As you can note from the above-listed prey, platonic male reltationships are her thing. A twisted creature, 'Spica Celeste' enjoys nothing more than torturing her favourite characters to the edge of death and then restoring them through their brotherly/fatherly (either way, specifically bromantic) connection with another. Much like a female Black Widow, the 'Spica Celeste' will not refrain from killing her favourite characters, and takes active enjoyment in doing so. As an older sibling herself, she takes particularly perverse delight in stripping other older siblings (such as Dean Winchester, SPN) of their inhibitions and forcing a parent or younger sibling to take over the previous role held by the victim. However, this is not always certain. Just as she relishes harming the character with the most heroic/protective capabilities, she frequently has been known to attack the more vulnerable of male platonic pairings also, such as Trunks in DBZ or Tony DiNozzo, NCIS.
The 'Spica Celeste' is, as previously mentioned, a big-time perfectionist and, with little free-time thanks to college work and upcoming exams, her production of fics is slow and uncertain. However, one can expect consistency in the timings of postings of new chapters when she finally gets around to finishing anything. As a side-note, the 'Spica Celeste' enjoys slash relationships, but the probability of her writing any herself is zero (because her knowledge of relationships, hetero or otherwise, is completely non-existent). The same applies to smut (she is a solitary creature and so has no experience in these things) and, overall, romance fics in general. With this in mind, please know what you're letting yourself in for BEFORE you begin reading any of her fics.
Thus, that concludes this impromptu expedition.
I hope you enjoyed this leg of the Fanfiction Safari. Continue downwards to discover works produced by the 'Spica Celeste' whilst in captivity or check out fics and authors that she begrudgingly acknowledges are brilliant. In any case, have a nice day.
Totally did a Derek Landy for my profile there: "he can finally refer to himself in the third person without looking pompous or insane". Hmm, it is a little pompous and insane, I suppose, but whatever. My profile. And I liked it. Which is, of course, all that matters.
Vanity aside, I truly hope you enjoy whatever you find here. If you wanna leave a review too, that's cool. I'm not promoting myself but, you know, the fics are just down there. Just throwing that out there. Seriously. GO LOOK. QUIT TALKIN' TO ME, DAMMIT.
Sic Itur Ad Astra,
I can't believe I'm giving you this link because I am utterly shamed by 14-year-old me and her massive authors notes, plotholes, probably numerous errors and just general wackiness. Should you be a fan of Dragon Ball Z, though, you may enjoy her work. There's not a lot on there, but feel free to take a look anyway.

I'm also on deviantART as of 17/11/12. At the moment, I totally misuse it and post only poetry but I have got some actual art I may get around to putting up on there at some point. COME JOIN ME. It's frickin' lonely over there!
And, yet more self-promotion, I've just joined Tumblr as of 05/03/13. My travels across the micro-blogging site haven't really brought me any substantial answers as to what the hell its purpose is...but it seems to be the place fandoms mingle and I like that. Anyone who reads my fics also knows I'm a sucker for long, rambling author's notes so I'm hoping having somewhere to chat to (read: stalk) my fellow writers without bugging them by taking up 500 words of a 1,500 word chapter every time I update! So come say hello!
NOTE: Supermassive black-hole thanks to everyone who read, reviewed and faved To Delay and Stargaze. I was totally overwhelmed by the response and I got quite a few comments regarding that freakin' ending and, as of 23/03/12, I can confirm that the original, ambiguous ending has been deleted in favour of To Delay and Stargaze becoming a full-on Deathfic. Read the A/N in the fic, it explains everything better, but this was what it was always intended to be and I'm much happier with it now. Apologies to everyone under the belief I would be continuing it; its new status makes all further work on on it invalid. Message here - be true to yourself, kids, and stick with what feels right. Regardless, thank you so much for all the original reviews I received for To Delay and Stargaze! It was such a positive response, despite the subject matter, and a real thrill to know it touched so many people. Thanks again - you're all GORGEOUS and I love you all!
In The Works:
Into the Wild: Supernatural fanfiction, featuring Sam, Dean, Bobby and some John. Contains Major Hurt!Sick!Angst!Dean and Minor Hurt!Angst!Caring!Protective!Sam. You know how civilians always think supernatural killings are animal attacks? Well, they're always wrong. Except, what if, this time, they're right? Sam and Dean are WAY out of their comfort zone on this one. Not slash. Set Season 1.
The Mistaken Mortis of Remus: Supernatural fanfiction, featuring Sam, Dean and possibly Bobby. Dean’s dead. So what else is new? The problem is, he can’t work out how it happened. Neither can Sam, who incredulously agrees to help figure out the events that led to his brother’s death after Ghost!Dean shows up in the middle of the night in their motel room. Cue tension, tears and brotherly bonding from beyond the grave, as well as an epic search for Dean’s body and the answers it may bring. But what with Dean’s afterlife amnesia distorting his memory, Sam can’t help but hope...could his brother actually be alive after all? And if so, is his time running out? Contains Major Hurt!Angst!and-introducing-Ghost!Dean and Major Angst!Caring!Protective!Sam. Technically a DeathFic...but all isn’t as it seems!
-CURRENTLY UNTITLED-: Supernatural fanfiction featuring Sam, Dean and possibly Benny and Castiel. Set directly after Season 8, Episode 9 'Citizen Fang'. Martin Creaser must have dealt quite the blow to knock Dean out so easily. Now, it's the middle of the night, on a badly-lit, unfamiliar highway, while Dean's brother is pissed off with him and a whole state over. You should've parked up sooner, Dean. While travelling alone, Dean's concussion rears its ugly head and leaves him in a car wreck. That's pretty much it - but, c'mon, you get the idea. Contains Major Hurt!Angst!Dean and a whole lot of Guilty!Angst!Caring!Protective!Sam. Working summary.
The Shadows of Oak Trees: Assassin's Creed 3 fanfiction featuring Connor and Haytham. Sequence 11 AU. Connor's been struck by one cannonball too many. Gravely injured and unable to flee, he resigns himself to death by his father's hand. But Haytham, nostalgic and contemplative over Ziio and what could have been, permits the assassin to live and takes his son to safety, resolving to nurse the boy back to health that he may honourably bring about his demise at a later date. After all, where is the dignity in killing Connor when he is so weak he can't defend himself? But what begins as a question of honour could soon become a road to forgiveness and acceptance, where father and son reconcile and one Templar maybe even returns to the fold. Major Hurt!Connor. A father-son fic. No slash. Working summary.
