Hello, I'm The Sorting Cat, and I know the difference between your and you're. Just thought I'd put that right here at the top to sell you on the idea of reading my work.

I don't stick to canon. Like most people around here I dig myself pretty deep into these fantasy-worlds, but that doesn't mean I'll stop criticizing and questioning the creators of those worlds. So while I don't necessarily aim to "fix" things, I certainly mean to explore these worlds in my own ways. For example: the world of Harry Potter continues to fascinate me, but since reading the later books (and initially liking them) I've learned a lot about storytelling and developed a dislike of their numerous plot holes and the lack of character development.

I do not make things up as I go along - I won't start a story unless I know how it ends.
