Author has written 4 stories for Fire Emblem, and Code Geass.
Hey, whoever is out there. I'm just a 16 year old guy who likes to write stories. Along with other strange and/or time consuming hobbies.
I like the fact that sites like this exist. Not only does it house some good fanfiction (along with the bad, unfortunately...) it gives me a good reason to actually write, because people will actually read my stuff and hopefully enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
I'm always looking to try to get better at writing, and constructive criticism is much appreciated. Love/hate comments are fine too, though.
Wargaming: This is probably my favorite hobbyand the most obscure of them. It's essentially a simulation of battles using scale models and terrain, almost like a model train layout that you play games on. Without the model trains. There are hundreds of rules to use and dozens of manufacturers that make models specifically for use in these games. A big part of the hobby is assembling and painting the figures so that they look good on the table, and it's also the most time consuming process. I personally enjoy painting up the figures, and you can take a look at some of my work (if I could remember where I put it...) Unfortunately, this is about the limit of my artistic talent.
I run a club for wargaming at my high school and actively participate in several other clubs for the hobby in my area. Doing this is probably the biggest time drain (aside from homework) in my life.
Anime: I have only really become an anime fan within the last year or two, but already I have a few favorite series:
Full Metal Panic
I personally tend to prefer the dub versions, unless they're particularly horrible. I would like to watch more anime (its a whole lot better than most things on TV in America), but I run into time issues (so much to do, so little time...)
Band: Yes, I admit it, I'm a total band geek. Music's a huge part of my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. However, this does mean that band eats a lot of my time, particularly during marching band season in the fall.
