SOME QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Q: So, Forks is in England?

A: Yes, for the purposes of this fic, Forks is a village in the England. After all, one cannot have an English Manor-ward without a manor in the English countryside.

The setting sounds a little strange for Twilight readers, but England is full of towns and cities with quaint names like Bath, Leek, Eye, Stone, Diss (oh the mind boggles at all the bad jokes for that last one). A few weeks ago, I passed a hamlet called Tiddlywinks, so really, "Forks" would really fit right in.

Q: I want to throw something at Chapter 3 Edward, cos he is so frustrating. Can I?

A: I've checked with Edward, and he says that unless you want to throw a good, clean copy of a Modern First Edition such as "The Great Gatsby", which he is now collecting, the answer is no. But he thanks you for your interest.

Q: In Chapter 4, why couldn't Bella have kept the “Pride and Prejudice” her father gave to her for her birthday?

A: It's conceivable that she forgot about the book in the midst of everything that was happening - her father's sudden death, losing the house, having to take care of her mother etc. Later, when she has moved out, it became difficult to prove to the bank that the valuable item belonged to her rather than with the rest of the collection where it was kept, especially since her father couldn't very well have inscribed "To my dearest Bella Boo" on a antique book.

Q: Maybe Chapter 6 Edward could bring Bella a plate of Jaffa Cakes instead of Swiss macarons sometime?

A: That is an excellent suggestion. Bella does in fact enjoy the occasional Jaffa Cake, though only the original McVitie product and never, ever the generic brand ones.

Q: I think Chapter 6 Edward should know that my kisses are cheaper.

A: I've passed on the message. Edward says to please pop by the library when you are free, but not between 1pm and 5pm, cos Bella would be there, and things could get awkward.

Q: Why did the chicken cross the road?

A: To get away from me. All this effort fic-writing has made me very, very hungry.
