![]() Author has written 4 stories for Aliens/Predator, Voltron, and Star Trek: 2009. It's been a while since I've been here, sometimes life gets in the way. It's time to do some clean up on some old stories. Sacred is now finished! Yay :) Beautiful Killers is next in line to be polished up. Sorry for the delay. Currently working on Enter The Light, creating a new character from scratch is a work in progress. The past few years since I have put the stories away have revealed a few things: Facebook is a boring waste of time, as is the TV. Being a responsible adult is not as much fun as I thought it would be. That being said, thank you readers and thank you writers for the little break from reality. Back to the original profile stuff... Hello :) So nice to be here with all of you! Like you, I am here to plug a vivid imagination in with like minds. So many times I have read a book, or watched a movie and thought - it has to get better than this. So, here we are... Me in a nutshell: A mom, wife, professional, Christian, and a total closet sci fi nerd. No one would ever guess that I have a secret desire to write sci fi/romance stories completely opposite of daily reality. It's a great escape, that's for sure. My two favorite pairings are: Scar/Lex from AVP Lotor/Allura from Voltron (dating myself) A little history on how I got started with this odd hobby: As an extremely hyper active child, I was removed from my 6th grade class one morning and placed in isolation for the day. The room was in the school library, so naturally all they had were a small selection of paperback books to entertain me. It was the day I read my first novel cover to cover, 101 Dalmations. When I finally ended up seeing the movie, it was not as exciting as how my imagination had lead the story and thought there could have been more to it. Started following Steven King stories in Jr High (dating myself again) and by the time I got into high school I was noticing redundancy in writers trying to fill pages to sell books and movie rights. Next, I found fan fiction books (before the internet lol) for Star Wars and Star Trek at the bookstore, how awesome. Science fiction mixed with estrogen (being a woman) is my passion - I can't get enough. Normal romance novels are predictable and traditional science fiction needs more love so thus begins the wheels turning and the imaginative day dreams of combinations from my favorite movies and shows. This is a great place to be. I have really enjoyed the countless hours of reading the many creative stories here. It makes me so happy, to come here, and see that I am not the only one who thought Princess Allura and Prince Lotor from Voltron should end up together. It was also very relieving to see how many people thought that Scar and Lex from AVP should be together! Whew, I really sweat that one. The talent within this site for true story telling has been amazing. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for writing these wondering adventures. Please don't take this the wrong way, but thank you for making me feel less weird in the real world. |
