I guess you want to know a bit about me:

My name is Kim. I was born in the 80's In Cape Town, South Africa. I have been living in New Zealand for almost 4 years now. I speak English and Afrikaans, but I like to mix the two. Might explain why my format is a bit strange sometimes, but I am working on it though.

I am a very friendly, quiet (some might disagree) and patient person. You know the type that sits back and takes it all in, but don't let that fool you because there is a side to me that I rarely show.

I don't really feel the need to say anything about my writing. I am not here to boast about how great I am at this or that. Or tell you what my weaknesses are. You can see for yourself if you decide to read one of my stories. Although I have improved immensely since I've started; I still have a lot to learn and appreciate all the help I can get.

I love DBZ... I grew up watching the dragon ball series and I clearly remember coming home from school doing whatever homework etc, playing with my friends...which were mostly boys as I loved playing soccer and cricket, preferred it to dolls lol. And at exactly 4pm Monday to Friday we would run home to watch be it DB/Z/GT, half an hour later we would rush back out speaking our own version of the Afrikaans dialect, hyped up at what we had just seen, actions and all! Ahhhh memories lol.

I came across fan fiction by chance out of boredom one night. I was just doodling on google which brought me to and read my first fic which was a Goku/Chi Chi...can't remember the name and since then I've been hooked. I only started writing late last year and am still learning so I welcome any constructive criticism. Idiots will be ignored, although it's not in my nature to hold my tongue so I may reciprocate lol.

About my updates etc:

I don't have a specific day for updating, I usually put it up whenever it's ready. I always post late at night, as I know it's when most of you will be able to read my updates. I have a very busy schedule(with more responsibilities than I care to mention and a very busy social life). I do try and update at least once a week, but if circumstances change then it will take a bit longer. It's very difficult for me to respond to PM's or questions in reviews straight away(unless I'm pulling one of my famous all-nighters) due to the time difference, but I always do.

If you want me to read your story let me know. I don't expect you to review mine, but it is greatly appreciated.

I am an avid reader. I'll read any book as long as it captivates me from the first few lines. (Fantasy and Sci-Fi not so much, although I like watching the movies and series).

Favourite Author: Lindsey Davis, she writes mystery novels. One of her series of books is the Falco series. He is a private investigator based in Ancient Rome, and I am absolutely in love with one Marcus Didius Falco ( in a non creepy way).

Some of my Favourite Non-Fiction Books: Wild Swans by Jung Chang(based on her life growing up during the Cultural Revolution, it starts with her Grandmother and leads up to that), This Boys Life, Kiwi's might fly, Life and Laughing: My Story by Michael McIntyre, Mao's Last Dancer...etc.

Some of my Favourite Books (In no particular order): Falco Series (Silver Pigs, Shadows in Bronze etc), Gone With The Wind, To Kill a Mockingbird, The No.1 Ladies Detecive Agency/Tears of the Giraffe etc.(About a lady detective in Botswana), The Hobbit, The Lord of The Rings, Devil's Peak (Anything by Deon Meyer, he is a South African Author who writes Afrikaans, Thriller novel's- books are in English too), The Help, The Pilot's Wife(Anything by Anita Shreve), Sky Burial(Anything by Xue Xinran), A Loyal Character Dancer (Anything by Qiu Xiaolong) ...etc

Book I'm currently reading: The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks (True Story about a tobacco farmer from Baltimore whose cancer cells were taken without her knowledge. HeLa cells(as it is called) were used to develop the polio vaccine and so much more...

Favourite TV series: Charmed, ER, Friends, Joey, Everybody loves Raymond, Dharma and Greg, CSI (Las Vegas and Miami), White Collar, Criminal Minds, Stargate & Atlantas, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Heroes, 4400, NCIS (huge Tiva fan), Torchwood, 'Allo 'Allo, Little Britain, Black Books, MacGyver (yeah baby!! lol), etc...

Favourite movie(s): The Lord of The Rings (I have been to Hobbiton, and it was the most amazing experience, walking amongst the set and picturing the scenes. One of the many sites I've visited), The Hobbit, The Avengers, Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, The Expendables, Die Hard, James Bond, The Losers, Watchmen, The A-Team, 51st State etc...

I could be here all night if I had to name them all LOL

Anime: Dragonball (Z,GT), Bakugan, Ouran High School Host Club, Maid Sama, Fruits Basket, Say I Love You

I love all types of music.

Favourite Game: God of War...

Anyways, I hope you've learned enough about me to know that I am a nice person. Feel free to PM me about anything, and please give my stories a chance. They may not be great, but I am trying.
