Author has written 16 stories for Transformers, and Transformers/Beast Wars.
I'm a UK-based fanfiction writer, who has found herself drawn into the strange, multiversal world of Transformers. Where possible, I always try to build on canonical material, exploring characters or scenarios from the source material.
I would say my favourite Transformers 'verse is Generation 1, but given that I have three movie-verse, two G1, one Animated and one Robots in Disguise story here to date (Jan 2013), I wouldn't rule any version out!
I'm not averse to original characters, but given the huge cast of most Transformers series, and their interesting personality quirks and interactions, it seems a little unnecessary to focus on them and I generally won't. Until recently, I'd also have said I avoided romance fiction, but I have to say there are a few couplings in the Transformers multiverse that are such fun to read about and maybe write a little about too - particularly where an interested rewatching/reading of the source material appears to support it.
Just to clarify - I do not consider relationships between transformers to be "gay". There is more than sufficient evidence for a skewed or certainly non-anthrocentric gender balance in the Transformers universe. If you accept the possibility of sparklings (and I know not everyone does) then the argument that only intimacy with the possibility of reproduction is "moral" or "decent" also breaks down. So if and when I write relationships (intimate or otherwise) between characters it is considering them as rational, emotionally competent individuals who can share a range of degrees of relationships without human gender connotations/prejudices/biological imperatives applying.
I'm always keen to get comments of any kind back on my stories - whether it's a brief 'loved it' or a more critical review that suggests where my writing might improve. I know that I have aspects I need to work on in my writing, as does any amateur writer, and not everything I do is going to appeal to everyone, so it's good to get the feedback that might help shape future work.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my stories!
