Author has written 2 stories for Doctor Who, Criminal Minds, and Sherlock.
Thought I'd put a little note in my profile, since it said nothing before. I've never written anything, ever, for publication, and really not much outside of it. I suspect most people will be able to tell that from my writing. :) Anyway, I'm a bit of a geek. I do medieval reenactment and outside of that practically live for my TV and computer. I'm also a middle-aged wife, mother of (God help me) a teenage son, and of all things, a civil service lawyer. (Don't ask me for legal advice. You won't get it.)
When it comes to TV, I love (and have seen every single episode multiple times) Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Doctor Who (starting with Eccleston) and recently discovered Sherlock, which I may love more than all of the others. (Maybe not.) And I'm quite perturbed we poor American's have to wait a year longer than the rest of the world for new Doctor Who and Sherlock episodes to come out! I guess that's what we get for that little set-to in 1776, huh?
I discovered fan fiction about 10 years ago - originally for Highlander, my dearly-departed first love - and have been amazed at the quality and imagination of "amateur" writers over the years. Finally, I decided to give it a whirl myself.
Anyway, that's me.
Oh, a plug for my favorite professional writers - If you like urban fantasy, Jim Butcher's Dresden Files novels are the BEST books ever! If you like paranormal romance, Shannon Butcher's Sentinel series is awesome! (Yes, they're husband and wife.)
Speaking of husbands...if you like Supernatural, check out my husband, Jabberwockey. He has two completed one-shot stories and one multi-chapter he's working on for Supernatural. The multi-chapter centers on Agent Hendrickson - who lives on in my husband's imagination. :) Oh, and he recently posted a Dresden Files short. Pretty funny if you ask me.
