Author has written 3 stories for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Hi, all...I'm Turtleena. Never thought I would be posting stories let alone writing them, but thanks to some encouragement from a good friend of mine, here I am. =D
I am currently twenty-some-odd-years old. Worked as a DJ on 88.9fm WQSU for about a year and 1/2, and interned at a local radio station--absolutely LOVED IT!!! Hoping to land a job at a local radio station soon, but in the meantime I'm stuck working in a grocery store.
Newest dream (since the 1 I had at the time I graduated high school didn't pan out too well)...to have my own private recording studio! Oh yeah, wave your hands in the air like you just don't care!!! What can I say...I've rediscovered my love for multimedia!!! Ha, ha, and you never know what I'm bound to come up with next!
I am a musician, craft person, and all around day dreamer.
The Golden Rule people...I know society today has basically thrown this concept off the edge of a cliff, but I think it is an important thing to implement in all aspects one's life. Constructive criticism is good, but when you blatantly bash someone's work just because it doesn't fit in with your preconceptions or for no good reason...that's when you've crossed the line. If you like my work and wish to leave a positive comment, fine...I welcome it. Constructive criticism is also fine, but only when conducted in a professional manner and does not include cussing--any idiot can swear up a storm, but a true test to one's character is their ability to use their vocabulary to it's full potential. Blatant bashing regardless of whether or not it is full of vulgar language is purely unacceptable, and you should just refrain from commenting and move along. Bottom line people, I don't bad-mouth your work so I expect the same courtesy in return. Follow this common courtesy expectation, and we'll get along just fine. Go against it, and you shall make an new enemy faster than you can say possum-on-a-gum-bush.
I am the girl ... that doesn't go to school dances, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal. I am the girl that people call weird, and a freak either behind my back or to my face. I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on My Space, or talking to a girlfriend on a cellphone or a regular phone. I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year. I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain.
Copy and Paste this onto your account, and add your name to the list, if you are anything like me, so the girls who are different and unique can know in their weakest times that they are unique, but not alone.
