Author has written 55 stories for True Blood, and Sookie Stackhouse/Southern Vampire Mysteries.
Hello, I'm a teacher and love to write. I used to be reticent about sharing my creative pieces, but since I posted Back and Forth, most of my reviewers have bolstered my confidence as a writer. And I find that I love to hear what others have to say about my work. It makes me feel like I have a big ol' support system out in the cyber world. It's nice.
Also, I very much enjoy reading what others have had to add to the stories of my favorite characters.
I hope that y'all continue to enjoy reading my stories as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
I am part of Fangbangers Anonymous: The TB/SVM Writers Directory (fangbangersanonymous. wordpress. com) that features TB/SVM writers who write mostly or exclusively on WordPress and other independent websites. Visit the site to discover some other amazing writers that you won't always find on fanfiction.net.
Note: It is possible that my stories may disappear from this site at some point if those who run the site find that my content is too risque for their rating system. I understand that they might, though I hope that's not the care. I also have a WordPress site if something happens here. I am acutely aware that what one person may see as rated M, another might see as MA. And I respect the decisions of those that run this site. Meanwhile, I have taken steps to make sure that my stories aren't gone forever.
And to those that run FF.net -- if you are reading this, I hope that you know how much I appreciate this site regardless of whether I am not allowed to post my complete stories here. I would hope that anyone who disapproves of my content would simply choose not to read. It is easy enough to just close a page; however, that kind of logic is not always followed by witch-hunters whose sole purpose is to find a witch. If those in charge of FF.net are pressured to take my stuff down, then they too are being victimized in my opinion, and I will not deride them for that. Instead, I will simply provide my WordPress site as an alternative. And if I am removed, I will go back, gloss over the objectionable parts, and re-post here. The stories will lose something in that process, but I would never abandon my fans.
I ignore and generally delete these if they have even a tinge of negativity. I won't deal with comments offered anonymously.
Projects (as of April 2015)
I am currently working on several projects.
1. Not Without Action
Currently under production! One new chapter every week!
2. The Gift Horse Series
Beginning seven years after Dead Ever After, this series of one-shots explores Eric and Sookie's future.
I'm currently in the drafting stages of the next installment.
3. Earned (the third part of the trilogy that includes Back and Forth and Come Back to Me)
Earned will be the final part of the B&F trilogy.
The story's premise: At the end of Come Back to Me, we left Eric and Sookie just married and content on the ætt land. Earned fast forwards to when Hunter is seventeen. The focus of the story will be on Hunter and Emma, just as much as Eric and Sookie. But many of the characters from the rest of the trilogy will appear as well. Will someone close to Hunter betray him? Can he save the girl he has loved since he was five years old? And will Eric and Sookie survive and protect their family as a new generation of enemies rises? You'll have to wait to see.
On hiatus--but it will return
4. From the Inside Out
The sequel to Inner
Currently on hiatus, but it will return.

A note about my process as a writer
Because I tend to change a lot in the revision stage, I usually don't begin posting a story until it is pretty much done - except for the editing. If I were to begin posting before I completed the story, I know that I would hit myself later when I wanted to radically change a plot point. I also tend to begin writing in the middle of the story and then work my way through different scenes until the whole thing gets solidified. Then I go in and write chapters that tie everything together.
That means that once I start posting a story, I will generally be able to post pretty steadily - since all I'm doing is editing. I'll try never to leave you hangin' for too long.
That also means that it might be several months between my stories, especially if the muse leaves me for a while or if my life gets too busy for much writing. But now that I've started posting, I don't think I'll be able to stop doing it. It's just so darned fun!
Because of my process, I rarely have a beta--though, for my works, the wonderful kleannhouse has worked with me. Thus, I take responsibility for any errors you see. Since I teach college English, I try very hard to make sure that my writing is edited perfectly, but any writer can tell you that there will be mistakes in a manuscript until at least a third pair of eyes goes over it, so I apologize in advance for any that I make.
I've been told that I'm a little "wordy" by some readers. I hope you will try me out, however. My hope is to develop characters, but I know that my style doesn't appeal to all.
I hope that you enjoy my stories! Thanks for taking the time to read them!
