Author has written 17 stories for Angel Densetsu, Fairy Tail, Fairy Tales, and Harry Potter.
Do you believe in magic? - Annarasumanara
Friday, February 24, 2012; Gummibear-
"Because, really, my whole life has been based of that little statement, though I haven't realized it until now. Because yes, I do believe in magic. I do believe in ghost, and the paranormal. I do believe in true love. I do believe in being childish, even when I'm 30.
I do believe in magic. =)"
Hello! Just another someone passing time with their writing, and then uploading her works for the world to see. Ah, now I'm starting to lose my self-confidence! Before that fully happens and I decide to take back my stories and hole myself up in the bathroom for a year... Yes, I use writing and reading as an escape from the pressures of reality, which I am told is actually really unhealthy; but we all do it anyway, right? I'm really not interested in actually publishing anything to make money. Just getting my stories out there to entertain people is my goal. I'm really into the horror/dark side/supernatural/ghostie genres, with a little dark romantic blah blah...Yes, I'm one of those people. I am an avid roleplayer...not the dress-up-and-swing-a-sword-around kind, either, though I wouldn't mind dressing up once in awhile! Who says dressing up is just for Halloween?! Anyway, being a roleplayer, most of my stories are born from the many roleplays that I have participated in and actually liked enough to want to dive deeper into the fictional world.
Just a little update (6-8-17): so my computer broke, but I've still been working on most of the stories, not to mention a few one shots as well. I've been on maternity leave for a couple months now, and it gave me plenty of time to dive back into the world of fan fiction. While KakaSaku has been my guilty pleasure as of late, I have not abandoned Fairy Tail. I'm planning on making a mass uploading before I go back to work within the next month, so keep your eyes out for updates!
So I'm going to start posting my stories and notes and whatnot here, just so you guys can see where I stand with updates and all that, not to mention hidden works that I'm working on...and my evil plot bunnies. Those terrible things that sit and sit with no real purpose other than to make you say, "Hey now that would be pretty neat!" but not actually do anything with.
If anyone has any questions or comments, please feel free to shoot me a PM. I love hearing from my readers, so don't be shy! I check my mail regularly, and I will try to respond to everyone.
Progression of stories:
Published Works in Progress:
The Fairy Tail League
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: The city of Magnolia is in turmoil, and only the heroes of The Fairy Tail League can protect it and its citizens. After coming face to face wi th the Salamander in action, Lucy vows to tell the real story of Magnolia's own Super Hero guild. But are they really heroes like she wants to believe? Or are they part of something more sinister? rated for dark themes, language, and lemons
Author's Notes: that's right! I decided that I want to rewrite this to make it the way I originally planned. I'm doing the with a few of my stories so it might be awhile.
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: AU: There is a place, beneath the city streets of London, where a designated few have taken refuge. The people of the Overground don't know that such a place exists, while the people of the Underground use this advantage to grow and prosper. Set in the mid-1700's, the American Revolution becomes the main point of her life, and she just wants to hide from it all.
Author's Notes: I've had this idea in my head for a long time, but the League kind of took over, so I want to get that one over and done with before I go back to this. I'm still writing this one, but not as much as I used to. Honestly, I only planned this story up to the next chapter that I'm working on little by little, so I'm pausing this one until I come up with where I actually want to take this one.
A Dance With Dragons
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: AU:Lucy is a princess who uncovers a power to control those with dragon blood in their veins. She's forced to use these new powers to save her kingdom from a dangerous threat, but not without becoming overcome by the power she possesses. With the threat of Lucy becoming a power-hungry tyrant, her only hope are the dragons she controls. LucyxHarem
Status: Work in progress, sorta
Author's Notes: This is just something that popped into my head one day, and I wrote out the first chapter. I've got a few notes about where this one is going, but it's not really high priority. I'm actually a little nervous with this one...this is my first dabble into other pairings for Lucy. I'm a total NaLu shipper, but I also like Lucy paired with others. (But I don't like stories with Natsu being paired with anyone else as a main pairing...a little hypocritical, I know, but I can't help it!) Just a little something about this one, the normal dragon slayers aren't going to be the only dragons in this story. For example, I have Gray as an ice dragon, Juvia is the water dragon, etc. Again, not really high priority, but I do plan on writing this one, exclusively, eventually.
A Night in the Country
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: Lucy's dream is to be a professional performer, but a serious infection and failing immune system is cutting her time short. Following in her parents' footsteps, she's able to join Fairy Tail Records, but she's thrown in a partnership with one eccentric country singer, who has a dark past hidden behind his bright smile.
Author's Notes: I'm rewriting this. It's one of those "if I knew then what I know now" kind of things.
In the Heat of Passion
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: Lucy has finished school, and plans to move out of her parents' house to live her own life. Natsu is a firefighter, transferring to a new town where he plans to plant his roots and raise a family with his new wife. Zeref is just there to provide support and courage for his brother. None of them imagined their lives would cross and lead them into lives full of love, passion, betrayal, and revenge. Would any of them have their long sought-after happy ending?
Author's Notes: Hmm, I seem to have hit a road block. I know what I want to happen, but I don't know how to get there from where I'm at, currently. However, despite when or how I do decide to get there, let me just say this, again: This story is not for everyone. If you find yourself squeamish with multi-pairings, then don't read it...and if you do decide to read, don't be surprised that Lucy and Zeref are a thing, and Lucy and Natsu could become a thing, and Lisanna might become an envious wife.
Angels of Chaos
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: Ten years ago, Makarov and Laxus committed treason. Never did they realize just how dangerous letting a single girl live, especially when they raised her to be one of the most deadliest vampire hunters of their time. Now they face the consequences of their action when the Vampire King rises, and he hungers for Lucy's life-force.
Author's Notes: Finally published! Now then, notes on the story development...I've finished part one, just need to tweak it as I go along now, and I'm writing like crazy. I hope this has a good turn out (though I'm not expecting anything. I just need to get this thing out!)
Unpublished Works in Progress:
Untitled, so far
Summary: AU. Sakura's life is perfect, or so she believes. She's on the fast track to becoming head surgeon in her job, she's bound to be married, and she couldn't be happier...until she becomes involved in something dark and secretive, turning her life and everything she knows upside down.
Author's Notes: So, my first real attempt at an all out Naruto fiction. I've been wanting to do something like this for awhile, but I didn't trust in my lacking of Naruto-verse things...I'm still lacking, so this story is AU. I don't trust myself to write canon-verse, and prolly never will. I have a basic understanding of what happened, but I prolly won't ever read/watch it till the end. Anyway, this is a KakaSaku story (my favorite pairing in Naruto, personally), so...we'll see how it turns out. Chapter 1 is done, and I think I have about another 3 or so already planned out, not to mention a few important plot things scoped out. Again, we'll see.
Untitled (Until Further Notice)
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: A bit of magic goes wrong, and Lucy finds herself transported to the past. She becomes faced with a dilemma, how to return home without changing anything important in her future, especially when faced with the dark wizard before he became evil.
Author's Notes: Ah! More Zercy! I don't remember where I was when I thought this up, but I can tell you exactly how it happened: I was sitting there (wherever 'there' was) and suddenly I imagined Zeref playing with baby Natsu, and I realized he must have been a good brother before Natsu died, and then my romance-addicted mind threw Lucy in there, and now she's walking around as Natsu's nanny, trying to figure out how Zeref becomes evil, and falling in love in the process...It's so much fun! Until the Dragneels die and Zeref throws himself into his research...but is Lucy able to stop all this? With the recent reveals with Acnologia and Natsu's past, I have more canon to work on, which means less work for me.
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: AU: Lucy will do anything to ensure Natsu's happiness, and that means helping him get back in with his family, the infamous Dragneel gang. She wants to believe she's doing the right thing, but Natsu has already warned her against trusting his brother, the leader of the Alvarez gang, but she can't seem to keep away from him.
Author's Notes: Summary needs a little work. As everyone expects...yes, this is ZerLu, but with NaLu thrown in for plot sakes. There is also implied NaLi (which I'm totally not against, and it actually kind of goes along with Lucy working so hard to make this thing work)...previously entitled "how you remind me" based on the nickleback song, but then I was listening to savior by rise against and decided that's the song I want to base this off. The story hasn't progressed enough for a change like this to matter so I'm not worried.
How Country Feels
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: Natsu is an all too successful singer, and the fame is starting to become too much, too routine, and too boring. After hijacking his brother's truck, he decides to go on an impromptu vacation to wherever the road would lead him. Nalu Jerza
Status: Work in progress
Author's Notes: So, inspired by a collaboration of How Country Feels by Randy Houser (which I can't stop listening to, along with his newest hit 'We Went'), Farmer's Daughter by Rodney Atkins, and a movie I once watched that I don't remember the name, or much of the story at all, except the plot line...So, if you've heard the song, How Country Feels, then you might pretty much get the gist of this story. Natsu has pretty much lived in luxury his whole life until he takes this trip. His truck breaks down, and he's rescued by Erza and Jellal. Lucy is just getting off a horrible break-up, and Erza is being conniving and tries to set them up. Will she be successful? :) Or will Natsu's life catch up with him and force him back into the limelight? Hmmm...
Lucy's House of Horrors (Title pending)
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: Lucy leaves the guild after receiving a letter from a long lost relative, all while her team is out of town doing separate mission. Her team accepts that this is something she had to do, until Loke shows up at the guild with bad news and throws the team into a game of survival while they try to free their friend, and themselves, from the clutches of a sick and twisted mind of a serial killer.
Author's Notes: Aaaaaand...the gore begins! Basically, the premise is that Lucy is mind-controlled (or is she?!) by some guy who's kind of like the bad guy in Saw. Natsu and team follow Lucy's trail to an old, abandoned house, where they end up trying to navigate themselves and a group of people through various rooms, trying to solve puzzles. If they solve them right, they're able to advance to the next room; solve it wrong, though, and one person gets sacrificed and killed, assuming someone hasn't been killed already. So yeah, this idea came from a mixture of a scene from the new show Gotham, the movie Saw, and a dream I once had. I always wanted to write something absolutely dark and gruesome, and this is that one.
The Heart of a Prum
Series: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?
Summary: While adventuring, Lili ends up in trouble, and has to have Welf and Bell save her, resulting in Bell becoming injured. Due to guilt, she she tries to drink away her sorrows, but gets into a little trouble of her own. Luckily, a member of the Loki Familia happens by, and rescues her. Lili wants to become stronger so she isn't a burden to her adventurers, and the person agrees to train her.
Author's Notes: So I watched this anime, and, naturally, something popped into my head. In the end, this is going to be a Lili/Bete story, I just don't know how to summarize it, yet. I absolutely loved Lili, and I love Welf calling her Li'l Lili, so, naturally, I plan to have him in this story a lot. We'll see how it goes.
Untitled (Until further notice)
Series: Fairy Tail
Summary: Lucy Heartfilia is the most successful author of our time. Her secret? She just wants her friend back. Due to her bookworm friend's disappearance ten years ago, Lucy came up with the idea that in order for her to come back, Lucy has to write the best book ever. However, she just can't be satisfied with what she's come up with so far. One day, while at her friend's apartment, a man appears, and she feels his life is what she wants to write. His story will bring her friend back.
Author's Notes: So, I had a dream, and this is what came out of it. There's obvious similarities to a certain anime about a certain author who's missing her certain bookworm friend...and she's surrounded by a certain trio of paper sisters. This story, however, will not involve the paper sisters.
(Mostly Fairy Tail...Actually, so far, every one of them are Fairy Tail!)
#1: No title. Lucy is the secret daughter (said to have died in a shooting alongside her mother so many years ago) of a mob boss. She works as a maid, never talks to anyone, and seems to only have eyes for her father (which some people mistake as a crush). One day, during a meeting, someone comes in and starts shooting everyone. Lucy was just unlucky enough to be there at the time, and her father tries to save her, but she's grabbed by one of the men shooting. He takes her with them as they run and hide from the police. My first attempt at GraLu, if I ever get around to it.
#2: No Title: Natsu and Gray get kidnapped by the bandit guild, Sabertooth. It's up to Lucy and Erza to infiltrate the guild and save their friends, though it becomes hard when the leader of the bandits, Sting, takes a liking to Lucy. Will she be able to follow through with the mission, or will she fall victim to Sting's wiles and fall in love with him? Not even I know the answer to this question, but I hope to find out! AU
#3: The Big Kahuna. Based off that movie I once watched, with the same title. It's actually pretty entertaining, and I suggest you watch it. Lucy is a good girl, but she's tired of it. She accompanies her friends to a beach party one summer, and she becomes the object of affection of the Big Kahuna, himself, and his apprentice, Natsu. Who is the Big Kahuna, you ask? I don't know yet.
#4: Fairy Tail General: A hospital-based AU drama. So far, I only have characters and their roles set up, but I imagine it to be like that TV show that only had 1 or 2 seasons, Trauma.
#5: The New Generation of Fire and Ice. Everyone remember that scene where Gray is fighting Bixslow during the battle for Fairy Tail in the Fantasia arc? He sees a girl in a window? Well, this is about her, and, after she witnesses Gray fighting, she wants to know more about him. So she learns that he's an ice-make mage, and so she decides she wants to be just like him. Well, she can't have him train her, because by the time she gets old enough to train magic, he goes off and gets trapped on Tenrou. So she goes to Lyon and has him train her. She finally gets her chance to meet Gray during the GMG after their return, and she joins Fairy Tail. Well, she and Romeo start to compare the greatness of Natsu and Gray, and they become rivals, just like Natsu and Gray...and that's all I've got for now.
#6: No title. Instead of going to Tenrou, Lucy stays behind. After the guild pretty much falls to ruin, she's taken by Twilight Ogre as payment. However the guild master ends up falling for Lucy, and she uses that to over throw him, and become guild master herself. But, becoming too ashamed that she pretty much abandoned Fairy Tail, she never reveals herself. Then, after 7 long years, she has to face Fairy Tail again, but she can't bring herself to do it. How will this turn out? Hmm, I wonder. Not good, right? That's what I'm thinking.
#7: Human: Based off the song by Christina Perry. AU. For about 3 months before her 18th birthday, Lucy is pretty much going to be auctioned to some old rich guy. But , instead of rebelling, she does what he asks of her, that is, until she meets Natsu, the son of a big and important Igneel. Natsu tries to get Lucy to break out of her shell and start thinking for herself. Things only spell trouble as she starts to listen to him and defies her father.
#8: Strangers Like Me: Lucy and her expedition team have finally received an okay to explore the mysterious Dragon Island, a place where no human has ever set foot upon. In her excitement, she takes a small group and they decide to explore. She gets distracted by a little blue cat, who leads her away from her group. She's lost, and suddenly comes face to face with a big wolf like thing. She grabs the cat and tries to escape, but she could feel the wolf thing closing in on her. A couple things happen next, and she's shocked into nearly fainting. First, the cat starts talking. Next, she and the cat are rescued by a man who can breathe fire, set his body on fire, and has a lovely shade of pink colored hair. She never thought there were any humans on this island, and he intrigues her. She absolutely has to study him! Sort of based off the Disney Tarzan movie.
#9: Traveling Soldier: My first venture into Wendy/Mest. If anyone has heard the song Travelin' Soldier by the Dixie Chicks, then you know what this is about. In the end, it's a pretty sad one. I don't know if/when I'll get to this, but I think about it while I'm at work, and I hope to start this one soon.
#10: Natsu and Lucy are requested to help a group of ghost/demon hunters cleanse a haunted home. Due to Lucy's new found ability to see/communicate with the spirits of the dead, she's able to find out why the ghosts are haunting the house. However, one gets too attached to her, and possess her. The idea came from binge watching Ghost Adventures. I've always wanted to write a scary ghost story, and I think this might be the one!
#11: What if Lucy wasn't successful in running away? She sticks with her father, through thick and thin, joining Love & Lucky, and becoming the vice president of the railroad company, though she secretly wants to become a mage professionally. After the Tenrou group returns, she's finally able to go to the GMG as a guest of the Princess, where she meets her favorite guild, Fairy Tail! Not quite sure where to go with this. Alas, this is another idea that popped up out of nowhere while at work.
#12: Beauty and The Demon king: Zeref is tired of Natsu refusing to play his game, so he kidnaps Lucy, the woman he feels Natsu cares about the most. However, in her captivity, Lucy learns that there's more to Zeref than the world believes, and she decides to make it her mission to bring out the good in him. Maybe, if she can turn him to the light, the war will be over, and no one has to die. However, is she really succeeding in bringing out his lightness, like she hopes, or is he bringing out her darkness? My first canon-verse Zercy! I'm a sucker for dark/light stories, and this one just popped into my head while watching -surprise, surprise- Beauty and the Beast. I hope I can pull this one off.
#13: No Title: Natsu and gray are police officers, but due to their destructive and immature nature, they're transferred to an undercover agency, where they're sent to infiltrate a high school to stop a drug ring. For reference, see 21 Jump Street.
#14: No Title: Lucy has a new boyfriend, and Natsu knows he's not as charming and innocent as he seems. Natsu is dead set that something is going on with their relationship, but before he can solve the mystery, Lucy is banned from speaking to him, and forced to stay away from the guild. Natsu fights to be able to see her, when he witnesses something that causes him, for the first time, want to kill. This is another one of those dark stories, actually inspired by the song 'Face Down' by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. If you've heard this song, then you probably have a good clue what I'm talking about.
Now, I'm not against anyone wanting to take these ideas for themselves, but let me know first! I know I have no ownership over any thing Fairy Tail related, but it's still common courtesy, not to mention I'd really like to read someone else's brilliant mind molding these stories. Besides, who knows when I'll get to these ones? Prolly never! I don't have as much free time to sit and write out all these stories like I used to, so it's kind of sad to watch these ideas go to waste. QQ Anyways, as time goes on, I'll update my progress, add more bunnies, or switch statuses. The point is, please be patient, my readers. I will update everything all in good time.
Now, I bet you realized I'm a Fairy Tail ficcer, so here's a few things about Fairy Tail fictions that I like:
A) NaLu is my main favorite pairing. Hands down. I cry every time Natsu and Lucy are not being romantic in the manga (Let's face it, their lack of romance happens more often than it appears [like...ever...]).
B) Zercy is my main crack pairing. Actually, this changes on a regular basis, but, for now, this is what I like. If there's any romantic story worth reading, it's Lucy helping bring out the good in Zeref. Granted, with recent developments in the manga, it's a little hard to bring this about - since he pretty much kills anything the moment he starts appreciating life - but the thought of Lucy being able to heal him and help him love humanity again - again, he kills things the moment this happens - is a romance so deep and meaningful that it seems likes it's more real than the real. (Anyone get where I'm going with this? It makes sense in my jumbled mind...) Hint: Think Beauty and The Beast.
C) Honestly, I like Lucy paired with anyone, and my favorite crack pairings change so often that I can't say I'm stuck with just one. Like some people are committed to GraLu, GaLu, LaLu, LoLu, and the like...I like them all. No discrimination here.
D) I like dark stories. Not to say that I don't enjoy happy ones, but only if they're short. One can only take so much happy and good things and fluff, throw a little bit of conflict in there! Death! Something. Drama, angst, the potential of falling to the dark side. Come on...life isn't always sunshine and rainbows, and neither should Fairy Tail fiction!
E) When I write, I've noticed, it's becoming more and more based off songs. Recently it's been country. I can't help it, though...I used to not like country music, and then I got a job in a place that the people I work with like nothing BUT country, so I ended up having to endure country music for 9 hours a day, 7 days a week...and then I realized some of them aren't that bad! I discovered Luke Bryan, my favorite country singer, even though I've pretty much only listened to him for a year or so now. My point is, for everyone out there, don't discriminate a song because of its genre, singer, or lyrics. I mean, okay, you can take lyrics into consideration, since the performer spends so much time writing them...my point is don't hate a song just because of what it's about. My two favorite songs are from Dir En Gray: The Final and Kasumi...it doesn't mean I'm suicidal or anything, I just love the song. (I hit a sore spot just now...if I'm passionate about anything, it's music).
F) I really, really, really dislike Lisanna-hate. I am a NaLu shipper at heart, but that doesn't mean I want to see Lisanna being a bitch to Lucy for their romance to progress. I like Lisanna. She's adorable, kind, and the fact that people seem to need to make her personality completely different (and then blame other people for the OOC-ness of other characters for really minor things) is just a put off. Likewise, making Lucy take that shit from bully Lisanna. Lisanna isn'kt a bully, and Lucy isn't a victim. I'm normally very open-minded, and I've tried to get past the evil Lisanna in many stories, it's just overdone and exaggerated. I like Lisanna, very much, and to have her character disrespected like that just isn't my thing. HOWEVER! This does not mean I will flame anyone for it
G) I have discovered a new pet peeve of mine: unrequited love. I watched a clip of a seminar on that, and the guy pretty much summed up all the reasons I can't stand it. It makes sense now why I've hated many canon ships including (but not limited to) Harry and Ginny from HP, Gruvia, and SasuSaku. I have been against those ships since the beginning, since canon hinted they were a thing. I have my reasons for disliking each pairing, but the underlying reason remains the same: pining after a person who you "love" but doesn't love you back, isn't love. Case and point: Sakura. At firstborn she was irritating, chasing after Sasuke like her misconception of loving deeply for him could change his mind. I think we've all been in her shoes as preteens, crushing hard for that other person who possibly couldn't give 2 shits that we existed. I've also been that person who was sought after, and, frankly, neither side feels good. Finding out that Sakura still ended up marrying Sasuke after everything he put her throughout was probably one of the most disappointing endings for a couple i have ever read. It's probably why I ship KakASaku so hard, because she grew to become such a strong and powerfully woman that's she deserved more than what Sasuke hadn't ever promised her. I'm going to find that clip again and add more, this has been difficult to type on my phone XP
