Author has written 2 stories for Hunger Games.

I am a 37 year old mother who loves reading, mostly fiction. As a child I told myself stories every night in my head to go to sleep and then it morphed into thinking up stories when I would get bored. I had to learn to temper it because sometimes stories are just so much more fun than the real world. Everyone loves to leave the world behind for a while. I have drifted through various favorite phases of genre's over the years such as suspense, mystery, science fiction and probably my favorite being fantasy. A good fantasy grabs me every time. I had not ever considered romance until lately. But the bond that runs through the books I love is that I find people fascinating. I love them and find the emotions and psychology behind people so interesting. So of course love would interest me too.

I had never really been exposed to fanfiction, though I loved the Harry Potter Series, The Lord of the Rings and now The Hunger Games. It seems to be an element common to all those who love to stay in worlds that are so fascinating. I had joined "The Hob" an adult fan site for The Hunger Games to find others to discuss this series with. I finally wandered over to their section on fanfiction and pretty much discovered a new world. I am not currently reading any Hunger Games series fanfiction since I am writing it. I don't want to accidentally mix stories. But I plan to read them once I am done writing in this world. I had stories floating around in my head about the end of the series and this inspired me to write them. Then some incredible people over there at The Hob encouraged me to post here, so I have done just that. You should really check out their blog and forums!

I currently have one story (Rediscovering The Dandelion- horrible title but, hey I am bad with naming things) based on the ending of Mockinjay. It fills in from the last chapter and runs to a little before the epilogue. I am currently working on a second story, which is really a continuation of the first one but from a new perspective. It will be from the daughter of Katniss and Peeta and takes place after the epilogue.

Edit* The first chapter for the second story is posted.

The Uncertain Future reviews
This is a story from the perspective of Katniss' and Peeta's daughter and is about what the future feels like as one of their children. It is technically a continuation of my other story, though it stands alone and is from a different narrator.

Rediscovering the Dandelion reviews
My story started as a short expansion of the last chapter of Suzanne Collins' Mockingjay and my imagined scenario of Peeta and Katniss growing back together. I had so much fun that it morphed in to more about the two taking it through the epilogue.
