Author has written 3 stories for Gundam Wing/AC, Zetsuai/Bronze, and Get Backers.
I thought I've put down the pen, or in this case, the keyboard, for good when it comes to fanfic-writing. After a hiatus of three years, I'm once again overwhelmed with the urge to write... occasionally. As you can see, I've diverged somewhat from the Gundam Wing fandom. For those of you who expected more GW fics from me, I am sorry to disappoint. It's just that my ideas for a sequel never came to fruition in the end.
'The Wake' is my first Get Backers fanfic (To date, all my fanfics had been my 'first' and only one in their respective genres). I'm hoping to write more of this story if motivation and inspiration enable me to do so. This will also be my first attempt at writing a non-shonen ai fic. Why? Because I've read this manga. When I know certain anime/manga characters too well, it's quite difficult to get them to do out-of-character things :)
As for the Zetsuai fanfic, it is the product of an old obsession of mine. Somehow I couldn't leave it behind me until I've gotten it out of my system by writing a fanfic on it. Essentially, it is also a cross-over fic with Neil Gaiman's hugely popular 'Sandman' graphic novel series. I have to make this clear: I didn't create the Desire and Despair characters in the fic.
I don't know what has possessed me to suddenly submit this old GW fanfic of mine for display at this website. Nostalgia maybe, or just plain narcissism. Whatever the reason, my story is here for you to read if you so desire. Be warned that this story contains what the Japanese like to call 'shonen-ai', which translates as 'love between boys'. This might send a couple of you scurrying away in search of less mind-corrupting fanfics, and this is a wise thing to do if you wish to preserve your innocence. Heck, I'd never thought twice about Smithers' (the spectacled guy in 'The Simpsons' cartoon) sexual orientation before I came across Mercedes Lackey's 'The Last Herald Mage' fantasy trilogy. Well, more about this in my 'ramblings' page if any of you are interested. For those of you who are still not put off by my warnings, I just want to say 'Enjoy'.
