Name: Sarah M
Age: atomically, 15 billion years (approx) and counting
Home: My heart (Aww... or creepy... think about it... eww) Actually, Wisconsin: a land of humble folk and quality cheese (which is also humble)
Likes: KITTIES! and all sorts of other animals, scienicey stuff and random things. Anime and Manga.
Dislikes: SOCK MONKEYS... weird gaping red mouth, and button eyes, bloody scalp, that creepy story I heard... oh yeah, and burnt coffee. The Spoon Man from Bleach- really creepy! UHG! Also, well behaved and well dressed children. You know what- banana flavored candy-THAT'S NOT WHAT BANANAS TASTE LIKE YOU SUGAR-HIGH INDUCING, MONEY-HUNGRY MORONS! *ahem*
Avatar: Yes. Hello Kitty motor oil does exist. My Japanese Religious History course is amazing. In truth, getting toward the end of the semester, I don't know why I'm still surprised at the variety of Hello Kitty products out there...
DISCLAIMER: I've been told I think too much. Just so you know.
I could be called a cautious optimist. Or a pessimist with a sense of humor. Like irony or satire. That's why I like comedians.
I think I'm a good person, but my philosophy is nothing clear cut. Don't ask. It can be confusing to many of you.
For some reason people think I some sort of Wise One and I don't get it. Oh well. I'm no psychologist- don't trust what I say on such matters. I won't express myself well.
I enjoy mythology in general. You'll see it in the stuff I write.
Truism: The problem of coming up with all the clever comments after the conversation is that you don't know which one you'd pick. But this is why we write- because we get to use them all and more people get to witness it.
Another Truism: The question "What could possibly go wrong?" is often a good starting place for answering it. This is why- this explains so many things in this world, it's not even funny anymore but we can't help but laugh.
Toxic Toast ch 1 published! My first story! But I'm still learning the ropes! I'm gonna learn! I know what people are thinking- "Oh no- you can't be serious. Envy?" Yes. I am. I am a hopeless fangirl. It is a matter of "What would happen if..." and I like asking "what is the worst case scenario?" Well, have fun!
Why put the Doctor and Envy in the same story? Consider the Doctor's energy level and Envy's energy level. Consider how much the Doctor talks and how much Envy talks. Consider the situations the Doctor gets into and the situations Envy gets into. Consider what happens when you push the Doctor too far- that's why Envy is cooperative. One short introduction into the Doctor's memories and you'll know the little punk is going to listen. It's a carrot-and-a-stick method, but hey- it's what works.
I really want to avoid turning Envy into a Harry Sue, but I STILL WANT TO WRITE EPIC SLAUGHTERS! Is that so wrong? It makes me all happy and giggly inside in an evil sort of way, but that's not a CRIME, is it? I mean, anyone who would want to read this fic would feel the same way, right?
So I've been taking a Fiction Writing course, and in every class, the X-Files are mentioned. I must admit that I never took an interest in watching it, but I began now in order to follow the conversation. Now I'm even more afraid of children. I also figure that Fox Mulder and Edward Elric would have a lot to talk about if ever they met.
(Mulder: Scully, what if Edward is really from a parallel universe? Maybe they have the ability to open portals into other worlds."
Scully: Mulder, don't be ridiculous. There's nothing supporting the idea that there are such things as 'parallel universes.' Besides even if it were true, there's no way any living organism could generate enough energy to created a 'portal' and survive.
Mulder: How can you be so sure?
Edward: ... *fume fume*)
(April 6, 2011) There seems to be a sudden jump in the number of people reading "Humor Me". Considering that it's a one shot lost w/in the plethora of IY fanfics, I'm confused as to why that is. So I reread my work, and noticed that up top I put in one of those "the views and opinions..." disclaimers in. Now I'm not sure why I did that. If you're going to read a Youkai's comedy routine, what else would you expect?
(August 14, 2011) The Chronicles of the Aftermath has been well received by the APH readers. So well that my original pet project, Toxic Toast, is getting a real run for it's money. I love them all, anyway. Allonsy and Ve to one and all.
