Remembers when Twilight hit movie theatres. Thought to self, "What a bunch of stupid tweens." Saw the Twilight movie @ a Redbox one lonely night, rented it, fell in love with it. The rest is history. I actually don't remember how I stumbled upon fanfiction--I'd like to think Google had something to do with it. But the very first story I read was crap. Not to be discouraged, I read Snowqueens MOTU and couldn't believe the world I stumbled upon. Needless to say, every day since, I've read some sort of FF on my phone/computer. I've even gotten in trouble @ work for "spending too much time texting." If only they knew!
I thought my obession with all things Robward would wane over time...ha! It seems each passing year I'm only drawn in more! This Fandom is amazing!! Never in my 26 years have I seen such a fervor for books. Some of these stories are TRULY AMAZING!!! My favorite story--although probably the saddest thing I've ever read is Awake in the Infinite Cold by Quothme. If you haven't read it, be prepared. You'll need tissues for sure.
I'm looking forward to Breaking Dawn Part 2, but more importantly--I'm praying to the powers that be that Stephenie Meyer stops her bitchin and completes Midnight Sun.
I'd like to thank each individual author for writing some of these stories, but sadly my favorites list outnumbers the time in the day I have for my obsession. Hoping to one day win the lottery so that I can give this writing thing a go. I'm an inspired procrastinator (story of my life).
