Author has written 7 stories for Durarara!!/デュラララ!!, One Piece, Code Geass, Harry Potter, Hetalia - Axis Powers, Avengers, and Red.
More often than not, I end up becoming the defender of the characters everyone else writes off. I can't stand character-bashing, even if I personally hate the character. Though, I have, as of late, discovered my OTP-- though I refuse to fight wars about it, I will go down with that ship, quoting Captain John Paul Jones ("I have not yet begun to fight.").
I'm a history nerd. I tend to focus on strife history, though I do have a soft spot for identity politics in the past. If you're writing a story that requires historical accuracy (battles, context, weapons, mindsets, etc.), I'm your girl.
Please don't be offended if I don't leave a review on your story- I'm a lurker, who typically reads fanfiction on her phone in spare moments, which prevents me from leaving reviews. Usually, when a story that I'm following comes to a close and I really like it, I will leave a review, but this doesn't always happen. I have a lot going on in my life, so I don't often review stories.
I have an extremely demanding schedule, which involves running around like a recently-decapitated chicken, so I will mainly update during chunks of time when I can take a break. In case you haven't already pieced it together, I'm a student, and one who's bogged down in a crap-ton of work. Since I want to give you guys the best stories I can muster, my updates will be sporadic. I do typically bat around three to four ideas in my head per month, so know that I'm thinking, and I want to write when I get a free moment!
Enjoy the Stories!
A Note Regarding my One Piece-Hetalia crossover:
A lot can change in five years. My views on Hetalia have changed drastically, and in one chapter I espoused an opinion that I now recognize as an obtuse repetition of the opinions around me at the time. Every political leader has their strengths and weaknesses, and unfortunately, some are accented in certain circles to the point of reification or demonization of the whole person. I no longer stand by those opinions expressed, nor do I support politics in fanfiction- I don't care if I support the view or otherwise.
So why have I chosen to change nothing? My reasoning is twofold:
1). The Internet has a long memory. If I were to remove the offending section, someone would undoubtedly have a copy somewhere. Better to face up to it, I say.
2). If I were to edit it now, five years after the fact, anyone who followed the story will be notified, and I don't want to call unnecessary attention to its removal. At least in my profile, no one gets notified when I change it.
As a post-script: I have placed a personal moratorium on Hetalia altogether. Why? Because as I've studied more history and international relations theory, I've come to the realization that treating nations as monolithic by literally personifying them makes no sense. It does not account for the multiple factions within a nation, nor for transnational identity movements, and instead relies entirely on a realist paradigmatic framework; it actually forces analysts to use that paradigm, since all other paradigms use non-state actors. Additionally, Hetalia presents a trivialization of history's greatest disasters and horrors, and boils centuries of tensions and conflict down to stalking or rape jokes. Apologies if you were expecting me to write more Hetalia.
