Hello my fellow fanfiction readers/writers/generally awesome people!

I've been on a four-year hiatus in order to focus on my Bachelor's degrees and my own fiction. Two degrees and two books later, I'm halfway through a Master's degree, staring down the dark abyss of student debt, working what is essentially 60 hrs a week when you consider classes, my TA position, and my retail job (because, you know, bills), and I thought to myself--you know, what? Fuck it. Write girl, write. So here I am. Writing and posting once again.

I've got three stories that are either being written or in the works:

A Ghost of a Memory: I'm nearly done with this one! Only have three more chapters to go. It's a sequel to a one-shot of mine, Haunting Memories, and ships my OTP super hard. If you're a WinterWidow shipper, you'll be giggling and crying, sometimes at the same time, so be prepared! This covers Bucky's recovering memories and his time in the Red Room with Natasha. Oh, and it ends with a lead-in to Age of Ultron, so I suppose it's sort of canon-compliant because we good viewers don't know any better at this point. Anyhoo, expect the first update within the week of 3/20.

Run, Baby Run: Welcome to my next OTP that I ship super hard. This is very much Captain Swan. It's yet another "Emma finds herself in the Enchanted Forest in the pre-Captain Hook days, oh look they've got the hots for each other." I promise, however, that mine is different from what's already in the fandom. We've got a slight crossover with POTC (because seriously, Disney, how have you not done that on the show, yet?), so expect some interaction between our two favorite pirate captains. It's a story told in three parts and covers a total of five years. Also, note: This baby is loooooong. Expect the first update within the week of 3/20.

The Darling Buds of May: So this is the story that's in the works. It's in The Originals fandom. C'mon, I got my start on this site writing Buffy, I can't part with my vamps. Anyhoo, this will a retelling of the series, but with a Kol/OC pairing. I love character insertions. Expect tons of Mikaellson love, lust, blood, and betrayal. You know, the good stuff. I hope to be posting this story sometime in June of 2017.

My Stories:

The Adventures of Anariel of Rivendell:

This is my first and only Lord of the Rings fanfic. It is a 10th walker, and gives Legolas a lady friend which I thought he deserved. Anyway, I stick to the movie's events, but of course I added my own little plot lines to make it my own.

Two Sides of the Same Coin:

Alright. This was one of those stories that my muse practically yelled at me to write. When the first season of Buffy was out, I was only three. So, I've watched every episode of Buffy, and some of Angel, so I've done my homework. Buffy and Angel are totally meant to be and if some people just don't understand that *cough* Joss...then I take it upon myself to fix the error of his ways. Anyway, Buffy and Angel are one of my favorite couples of all time, so I thought that I'd try my own hand at a Buffy Fic.

As far as the story goes, it takes place after the Yoko Factor, which already causes drama with Angel returning once again. Basically, a vamp from Angel's (or rather Angelus') past comes back and takes out his revenge on Buffy, causing Angel to come to the rescue! Woo! I'm a firm believer in Willow/Oz, so Tara is just a friend. I've also made some changes to Spike. He's more the annoying (but adorable), comedic relief presence that he was in later seasons. Also, as always, the title pertains to a particular character in the story...care to take a guess at who? Anyway, enjoy the story!

As It Should Have Been:

Alrighty! This is the sequel to Two Sides of the Same Coin. It takes place during season five of Buffy and crosses over with Angel season two. Naturally, since I have Angel and Buffy together, some things are going to go just a little bit differently (mainly with the drama that is Angel S2). Though this is a re-write of the season, I will try and not have it seem like Buffy takes center stage and Angel is just in the background. To remedy this, I will have Buffy going to L.A. to help Angel out for a few important episodes *cough* Darla...

Eye of the Beholder:

This is yet another Buffy fic, but it is not in the same universe as Two Sides and AISHB. It's in a universe all it's own, and I love it. This Buffy fic goes on the basis that in the Buffy Season 2 finale, Buffy didn't have to send Angel to Hell. Buffy managed to close the portal, and thus allowed Angel to remain here on Earth.

So...naturally...there is LOTS and LOTS of drama and angst...I'm talking tons...TONS of angst-y goodness. Angel kinda got to skip out on the Angelus aftermath, and so did Buffy in a way because she ran off to L.A. That doesn't happen here, and I confront everything. If angst isn't your thing, I promise if you can survive the first eight chapters, you can get through the story! After chapter eight, it changes from angst to more suspense/drama and I totally take season three into my own hands!

Love's Gift:

This is the sequel to As It Should Have Been. It's a rewrite of Buffy S6 and Angel S3, and I loved working on it. After all...think of what happened in Angel S3...LOTS of fun for me to mess with!

Someone To Watch Over Me:

This is the first story of my Hunger Games rewrite. It's not a complete overhaul of the original plot line. I simply tweaked the characters, allowing any changes in the plot that followed to seem more natural. My version of Katniss actually acts more like a 16 year old teenage girl. She's not emotionally oblivious like she is in the books, and is a little bit more open to emotion. My version of Peeta is much more bold. Confident. And, dare I say it, badass.

My Last Breath:

Sequel to Someone To Watch Over Me. This is my rewrite of Catching Fire, the first chapter picking up two weeks after the end of STWOM. This story definitely has a PK relationship that I believe isn't in any other fic on the site. If you want a Catching Fire that has a happy and in love (and they know it) PK, then this is the story for you. Not to say that this story is completely fluff. Because it most definitely is not. However, there are fluffy moments mixed in with the drama. How might have CF unfolded if PK faced the threats as a team?

Come Rain or Come Shine:

Sequel to My Last Breath. This is my rewrite of Mockingjay. It is definitely a darker fic with some mature themes. I'll go very in-depth with the effects of Peeta's torture and the vast majority of the story, quite honestly, isn't very happy. Yes, there will be some humor sprinkled in with a few heartwarming moments, but the bulk of this story is angsty and dramatic. Despite all of that, I think it's the best story of my rewrite of the series. With this story, I really wanted to show how PK could reach their lowest low and still find the strength to pick themselves back up.
