Hi! Well, first of all, I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and that's mainly what I write about. I really like writing about the twins. I find them a lot of fun to write and they're two of my favorite characters. I usually write a lot of OCs mainly because I love making up my own characters and I feel as if it's good practice in case I ever do write my own book one day. My OCs are usually with Fred because I find him easier to write than George. I'm planning on trying to write a story with George as the main character soon, though.
I've basically been reading since age 3 and writing for fun since age 9. My fourth grade teacher had us do a lot of writing in class and I realized how much I liked it. I also started reading Harry Potter at age nine when this same fourth grade teacher started reading a chapter a day to our class. After she read Chapter 1, I checked out the book from the library and finished the whole thing before my teacher finished reading it to the class. A few months later, the first movie came out and the rest is pretty much history. My parents bought me my own copy of the first book for Christmas that year and it's actually one of my favorite possessions. I met James and Oliver Phelps recently and had them sign it, which made it even more special.
Some of my other favorite books are The Great Gatsby, The Fault in Our Stars, Looking for Alaska, Peter Pan, the Delirium trilogy, Holes, and basically all of Sarah Dessen's books.
Currently, I'm reading The Spectacular Now and then I'm hoping to see the movie sometime after I finish it.
The quote at the beginning of my profile is from Dead Poets Society, which is my favorite movie (along with Mrs. Doubtfire) and definitely worth seeing if you haven't already.
I just finished my latest story, Promise of a Lifetime, back in October and I'm currently in the middle of trying to plan out another one. I actually have a few ideas, but everything's sort of half organized right now. Still, I'll try to start posting a new story as soon as possible. :)
