Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Vampire Diaries.
When life gets boring, reading and writing can be the great escape. Slipping into a book, a movie, a great fanfiction, it can make everything brighter. My life is pretty even keel. I'm happy and I have fun. I have a job I love, a great family I adore who always supports me. My problems are usually pretty small beans and that is exactly how I want them to stay. But that doesn't mean that I can't appreciate great passionate emotion. Reading, watching a movie or a really good television show, writing a story, they can all evoke deep passionate emotion. So, while I would never want to live the stories I read or write, I do enjoy them immensely none-the-less.
With that said? I don't do reality in reading or writing. I want a fantasy. I want exciting and otherworldly. To sorta misquote an absolute favorite of mine: I want a story that consumes me. I want excitement and adventure...even a little bit of danger. If I want reality, I'll turn off the laptop and go hang with my family.
It's been a very long while since I've written anything, but lately I've become inspired and I've gotta try it again.
