Hi. I thought it was about time this thing got an update. I have been on this site for years, and it’s amazing how much both I and my writing have changed in that time.
Notes on me:
I am a female. We rock.
I am a Christian.
We asked Jesus, "how much do you love us?" Jesus replied, "this much" and stretched his arms on the cross and died. If you love Jesus, put this on your profile.
If you believe in Jesus Christ put this in your profile!"And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might."Deuteronomy 6:5
Even when you can’t see Him, GOD is there! If you believe in GOD put this in your profile."Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?" Jeremiah 23:23;That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after Him, and find Him, though He be not far from every one of us:..." Acts 17:27
I am the girl who hasn’t ever been on a date, who brings a book to football games when my friends drag me. I am the girl that people look through when I say something. I am the girl who would rather go to the library than get dressed up, who loves heights and video games and likes to dance in the rain. I am the one who sits in the front of the class, who sings Disney songs at random moments and isn’t glued to her cell phone.
But I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is, doesn't care if people call her weird (it's a compliment), who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more, who loves and is obsessed with dragons, who can express herself better with written words, and knows the importance of the little things.
Copy and Paste this onto your account if you are anything like me, so the girls who are different and unique can know in their weakest times that they are unique, but not alone.
When someone calls me weird, I say, "Thanks! That's the nicest thing anyone's said to me all day!"
Notes on shipping that make everybody’s sailing smoother:
It is okay to ship whatever ship you ship (try saying that five times fast). I can almost guarantee there has been stranger in the history of fanfiction. Examples of this include GanondorfXhis reflection(Legend of Zelda) and HookXthe floor(Once Upon A Time). Sometimes the best part of sailing a ship is just trying to find a way it might work.
Do not bash other people or the ships they ship, just because you do not like them. I personally am not a fan of DracoXHarry(Harry Potter) or DoctorXAmy(Doctor Who), so I simply do not seek it out. You are not going to exterminate every example of the ship you do not like, the only thing you will accomplish is making everyone involved ticked.
Same thing with slash. If that’s what floats your boat, okay, that’s good for you. If it isn’t, there is a whole other ocean of fandoms and ships for you to play with. Slash ships are particularly nimble at dodging cannonballs, and all that will happen is they get evasion practice and you will wear yourself out.
Ships that have been sunken in canon should be referred to as submarines, because saying a ship became a submarine sounds much less depressing than saying it sank.
Notes on my writing:
If I begin a story, I fully intend to finish it. However, my priorities go: school, life, fanfiction in that order, so it will probably take a while.
As of 7/8/2014, I have completed a purge of my older works, the things that made me cringe looking back. So if anybody came looking for something and it isn't there, I may have shoved it into the vanishing cabinet, and it will never be seen again.
