MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES: I have not abandoned my site or my stories. I am sure many of you think that this is the case. The fact is I am constantly working on my stories. It is just that I essentially have to write them and then type them. So, it's like they are being written twice. And I can only do the second writing on my home computer. It makes things a little more difficult in that I work full time and am essentially taking care of two elderly parents. That is probably TMI for some of you. But, I want you to know what is happening, many of you have been loyal, for years. I know that this explanation is a long time in coming. And I am forever grateful to those of you who read and reread my stories in anticipation of new chapters. Thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

UPDATE: 9-9-23 I didn't realize that I had not updated my profile to include the following information. and I apologize for that. I experienced personal tragedy this year. I lost both my parents earlier this year. My father in January of 2023 and my mother, 44 days later, in February. It has been a very difficult time for me. And it has changed my life in ways I could never have anticipated. I, as stated in my earlier post, HAVE NOT abandoned my stories. In fact, in many ways being able to write, freehand, has saved me during this time. I hope you all will understand that I have had a great deal to process and deal with during this difficult time. All I can ask is you to CONTINUE to be patient with me. I have such an amazing readership here. I hope I will be back soon on a more regular basis. JL

To those of you who leave those nasty anonymous reviews. Please understand, I have been doing this writing thing for awhile, so I have developed a thick skin. You are not going to make me stop writing. You are not going to make feel bad that I treated a particular character in a manner that YOU consider unfair. You are not going to make me change my mind and write ANY character the way you want him written. If you want the character written a certain way...WRITE HIM THAT WAY!! I share because there are other people out there who share my views and want to read my work...if that is NOT you...MOVE ON!!! You're wasting my time and yours leaving nasty reviews that you don't even have the guts to sign. I refuse to waste my time, any further, on those people. STOP hiding behind your computer!
