![]() Author has written 23 stories for Merlin, and Doctor Who. Hello! I'm Kat, Nightfox is my "alter-ego" and nom de plume. You'll find that due to 's restrictions, this is only a partial list of my works. If you want the rest I can be found on Live Journal . com as k_nightfox and on AO3 (archiveofourown . com) as nightfox . Fair warning, many of the stories you'll find there are of a much darker, disturbing and/or explicit nature. I'm not big on sharing too much personal information but here's a little bit. I'm American, born and bred from a mulitude of ethnicities and I'm proud of every single one of them...twelve of them to be exact. I'm female. I live on the East Coast. I work as a Psychiatric Registered Nurse (when I'm working) and am fascinated by all the little oddities and ecentricities that make every person unique. I can't stand "normies" - people who do their best to act like a "normal" person, suppressing those very characteristics that make them who they are. Vanilla is so boring. I've been writing fiction short stories since junior-high but only got into reading & then writing fan fiction in the last year or so. What have I been missing??!! I'm making up for lost time now though! Most of my stories will be about the BBC shows "Merlin" and "Doctor Who". I'm a huge fan of both. Any story that doesn't have a "complete" status will be updated, no matter how long it takes me. My Muse tends to be a bit of a fickle bitch and is shockingly unreliable as far as working to a deadline but when she does work, she seems to be worth waiting on. I sincerely want to thank everyone who has been kind enough to review, favorite or set an alert on any of my stories. It is appreciated more than I can tell you. Update as of 9/22/12 Apologies for not updating "Facing the Music" and "Hold on Loosely". I have not and will not abandon these stories, I've just been having lots of RL issues which include (among other things) an ongoing struggle with back injuries from an auto accident I had a while back. I love both these stories so much that I want to get them right so please, bear with me if it takes a while! I am hoping to get back to both stories sometime this Autumn! Thank you to everyone for your patience with me! |
